Dunking is fine, too.
Pro tip: If you do decide to spray them, make sure you run a hand up through each brach while spraying. Doing this will cause the soap mix to pool up in your hand and panitrate deeper into the branch.

How does ozone work on these situations?
Right. Like I said, I wouldnât spray any flowers with anything and if I did, I wouldnât smoke them.
no house plants in my spot for this reason. did a clean up 2 days ago but after this run will do a month off and clean everything again.
they came from where i left my mother keepers⌠the person decided to take in a bunch of house plants from walmart on clearence last fall. after i told him to keep them away from the moms he had them in same room but moms in a tent (not the smartest grower he is)
i just trashed all my hunted moms except one i am going to try and save because i really like her.hes also in middle of a run so trying to time it where he can clean and take a month off also.
most likely its just to test the bud structure and yeild on these two strains never ran them before. will prob decarb into gummies but im giving me 2 weeks to decide
sorry for the hijack @HolyAngel <3
Yeah itâs why i stopped growing outdoor. Too close to my front entrance, basically a pest magnet
Sure, this is what I had used for a few pests I had https://www.amleo.com/venerate-cg-organic-bio-insecticide/p/VP-VENERATE
IF you can find the non cannabis grade version Marrone(the maker) has said its the same just without the certification stamp and is cheaper. It specifically mentions whiteflies but I used it for mites along with a knockdown spray to make it through flower. My last spray was like day 26 or something.
Alright, big pic update!
Finally got around to taking clones and up-potting the girls yesterday. Everything is a bit pissed off from being in seedling bags this whole time. Now theyâre in 1/4 gallon fabrics lol. Flipped to flower this morning. Still have some cleaning to do but in the meantime:
StarShine F2 #1 #2 and #3
Next is the two TriForce girls #6 on the left and #5 on the right
And finally, two C5SensiStar F4 girls, #1 on the left, and the #2 on the right
Whole tent
For males, I ended up with two TriForce males
They donât look pissed off at all . Maybe mildly annoyed
Mhm, I love that look. Thatâs cool that sheâs sorta growing out of the early weirdness haha.
I just removed nine males from the tent last night , getting ready to trash them and throw the soil back in the bins, but I noticed that a couple of the Mountain Temples were growing like that, too. Great âopenâ sort of structure, branchy etc etc. It fucking SUCKS that those ended up maleâŚ
I wasnât planning on taking pics before I killed them, but maybe I will and post them on my log or something, I dunno⌠Iâm pissed, though haha, down to seven plants from nineteen starts, totally absurd.
I donât have a lot of cannabis growing experience but I have been gardening for over at least 15 years now. Last year I grew 4 plants outside. I was having problems with mites, thrips and leaf borers. I was recommended Purecrop1. It worked fantastic for me. Took care of powdery mildew, all my pests with the help of some lady bugs. I sprayed through flower and had virtually no rot or mold. Only pest control I used was Purecrop1, BT and lady bugs and lacewings. I used the Purecrop1 at about half strength with a wand sprayer after it rained and/or once a week or as needed. I plan on using it again this year. The single bottle I bought is still more than half full.
Looking at the ingredients, it says that Purecrop1 is 10% soybean oil, 5% corn oil and 85% âinert ingredientsâ (water) and a 16-ounce bottle costs $35. You could make that yourself for a fraction of the cost.
Iâm not saying it doesnât work or anything, just trying to save you a little bit of money haha.
Yeah I donât think I paid anywhere near that much. I wanna say it was under $25 when I got mine. I read the ingredients and thought the same but read good things about it. Things Iâve read about homemade versions is they donât mix and work nearly as well. I havenât tried making any myself but I can attest that it does mix extremely well and stay mixed.
I would bet money that it wonât get rid of mildew. Oils always fail.
You wonât have the micelles though
lol canadian prices always kill me. purecrop1 16oz bottle is 69.99 cheapest i can find. and not including shipping.
i ordered all the ingrediants holy gave me for about 75 bucks
So how much will you end up with making your own?
@204medismoke
I like the neem oil/K silicate/aloe/ peppermint and rosemary essential oils thing. Seems to work well and it smells good, too. Or I think it smells good, anyway. My girl hates the way it smells hahaâŚ
The aloe isnât really necessary, but I always add it when I spray, just because of the benefits to the plants themselves. I use the K silicate as an emulsifier instead of soap for the same reason. I dunno. Sometimes Iâm pretty good about spraying with that all the way up until like week two of flower, but sometimes I donât spray with it at all. I havenât for the current grow. But yeah, those ingredients are relatively cheap and, uh⌠Maybe they work? Haha. I havenât had any pest issues for a few years now, knock on woodâŚ
