Just chopped all the veg plants to get ready for this trip on Tuesday. Took 3-4 clones of everything. Gotta make one more bucket of bites for the c5ss f4 #2 girl. I did take clones of her too despite the nanners. I’ve not seen any seeds yet so wondering if maybe they’re sterile. Otherwise she’s gonna be fully loaded with s1s here in a couple weeks

I appreciate you and the way we interact. I spend a good amount of time reading on here but really only reply when I get heated and talk shit or have something plant related to say. I like your threads and (most of haha) your opinions. My thread can be more of an open ramble about what I’m doing than something clean and concise hah I could do better with organization and I do say stupid shit from time to time. You spending your time where you do gives me more to read and digest and whatnot. It’s a good thing.
The c5ss and the mm both look great, Holy. With any luck one of my emperor’s haze come out leaning c5. I keep seeing everyone talk up MM quite a bit. Excited to see how yours is once it’s been, you know, maybe 6 days dry rather than 3😅

MM can be some good stuff for sure. Not the best for my preference from what I’ve found but up there for sure. Wife already approves of this F3 #3 girl so she’ll definitely be sticking around and likely worked with in the future. She should be ready to bag up in some groves when I get back on Friday so I’ll try and take some flower pics then.

If I’m not mistaken, Bodhi says his work is a starting point. I’ve found his work to really shine in crosses personally.
As far as f2 packs without flowering them. I look at it as such a small genetic sample that I want to include it all in an expansion. I can than do more selection down the road.

Once I go through all the females + males and find the ones I want to do more work with, that’ll be when the true fun starts! lol. The males will be a bit of a guessing game though (since it’s an open pollination and we won’t know exactly what each male brings to the table yet).
Also agree on gogi OG. I never grew out the pure gogi og but I grew out a couple packs of Heaven mountain (gogi og x Appalachia) and it wasn’t for me. Nice plants, but just not my type of smoke.
I actually still have almost a full pack of Heaven mountain left. I’d like to do a repro with them too, just because a number of people here seemed to be really interested in seeing that pack repro’d.
Goji was an interesting one - out of 6 females I found 1 that fully resembled the goji description - sour pinesol berry flavor, nice daytime hybrid high. 3 were more pinesol without the berry and varying degrees of sharpie/earth. One very juicy berry (and the weakest noodliest stems ever). And one pure bad breath stank ew. I would not call them particularly sexually stable, but my set up wasn’t as good then. I want to look through the sour pinesol berry’s F2s soon, it still is a favorite for a chill daytime high.

So far she’s got a relaxing body high but an active cerebral high too. Definitely get some muscle relaxation from her. Mind is active though and no issues coding and chatting and whatnot. Seems to be a bit of a creeper as well I can feel it comin on by the second toke and waiting 5-10 minutes after a session; I am noticeably more high than before
Flavor is really good despite not being dried proper yet. Spicy Chai and Cream so far. I mixed it with the SSDD last night and I swear that combo tasted just like a bowl of Fruity Pebbles
I’m unsure on the comedown at the moment as I just don’t enough of her dry yet to find out. End up switching to something else and I’ve been sleep deprived for a couple months now. The last two I ran (ShowMeHomies cut and my f2 #9 girl) were both straight daytime stuff though. Can usually find daytime herb in most of the Appalachia crosses in my experience.
Rad! Sounds good, appalachia is supposedly a good representative of the green crack’s up high… I couldnt stand the smell of green crack but I did love its high yields and active buzz. I have a pack of these MM’s I will need to explore
Yeah I’d say so. I’ve looked at more Appalachia crosses than any other male from Bodhi so far and it’s pretty prevalent IMO. I’ve found similar high’s and flower structures across almost all of them, just different flavors and tale-tell effects.
