I mentioned my husband’s profile handle on his forums… Temujin ( Genghis Khan ) … hubby’s Korean. He spent tons of time researching, chatting and purchasing genetics. LED_Seeds responded saying he knew of Temujin on forums and that Temujin was fairly known.

A lot of people doing IG auctions these days. All it takes is the right IG-canna-celebrity (there’s definitely some here on OG!) to drum up enough hype for the auction for it to be super successful. That, and working out the logistics of the auction itself and payments, of course. Just a thought.

Anyway you can judge yourself what does it mean… certainly not what she declared earlier “trying to learn about growing”.

she deleted her other acct too. damn it was the feds wasnt it.
I’m not aware of any other account (the attempts to register duplicate account were deleted right away).
That was not feds (that is too paranoid idea) but classical example of scam. She probably wanted to scam someone into buying some rare collection worth of thousands of dollars (appearing like it is unrepeatable chance) and trick him into sending money first… It happens all the time on the internet.
She had not been successful at this topic so she tried over PM and failed (cause nobody was too eager and naive)… Now she will want to probably repeat this strategy on other forum so she wants to cover tracks 
…
Great lesson for us that if something appears to be too good it probably is 
. Safety first. No exceptions.

I am very glad we made it practically impossible for her to do any business. No one will be scammed from our home now.
It smelled funny to me and now it has played out, it is only my opinion of course but I find that scammers are more persistent in trying to get the money. While perhaps
Mr. Federal agent looks for an inroad to chip away at an organization and when the cover is exposed pulls out abruptly. That’s just my two cents.
I worked at a Fraud Prevention call center and i learned one thing about scammers. THEY DON’T GIVE UP!
Not to contradict anybody but, i feel the same as @legalcanada, they might not be coming after overgrow per se, just maybe looking to hook up with people who are commercial growers. The dark side clouds everthing.
I also feel that she was following instructions from someone, and she changed her story several times. I might be wrong but i got the slightest idea i saw a member post a pic of some packages of seeds thast resembled those ones from Mia’s pics… Particularly some packs without breeder’s name, just the strain written on the sticker, i can’t be sure now.
Sorry but changing story is classical scam problem. Once first version becomes unbelievable is time to change the story…
That doesn’t mean getting instructions from another person. Sorry.

Obviously we all feel bad about what happened, i just glad it’s over now.
