Thank you   Just waiting on power, and I think things will he fine. My parents got power back 5 miles down the road well over 24 hrs ago  Kind of jealous.

wow, that is absolutely post-storm gouging…shame!

Well, that’s usually a good sign that you will be back up and running soon…at least the power is getting fixed in your area. Still, 5 minutes away can take awhile to get yours. I know it seems like forever also, been there too many times when I lived southwest of NO…
Good vibes only to you, young lady!!

Hugo was the worst I ever seen. There was a bunch in the early 90s. Texas was the worst. It was around the Galveston area storms would come up out of nowhere. I’m glad you’re OK

Thank you! I am surprised with all the damage that the death count so far is actually very very low. No one gave a crap about masks when this his and like ants fighting over gas and food lol but not much Covid talk.

People get a little scared. I’m making a oil heater for this winter out of old motor oil because I’m worried. Lol we had to get a tree cut down a while back I was worried it cost us 5000. The storm last week would’ve put it on our house probably

My neighbors said to quote those two trees removal while alive was like 25k but downed with destruction only $12k

At that price I wonder if it would have been worth getting an Alaska Mill and making those downed air-makers and soil-stablizers into solid boards for potential Ferengi style profit.

Never forget Rule of Acquisition # 109: “Dignity and an empty sack is worth the sack.”.
