Tied down the plants, in day 8 of flowering.
I plabted 4 seeds of an auto i had to test them, they are an s1 of Zkittlez from quebec seedbank. The large one smells like tropical candy. Inpressed with how fast they have been taking off

the bounce back from being bound and gagged.
Plants are looking good, following the future harvest week by week guide taking about 10% off what they recommend, adding honey chrome and calmag.
Looking good, @jessethestoner. I’ve grown quite a bit of JOTI’s Black Candyland, myself.
The female pheno I kept for a while was super sweet and frosty. One clone I cut from her ended up growing into a 13oz giant.
However, Jordan used a Seed Junky Genetics’ Candyland male to make it. Seed Junky is known to breed hermies, and males definitely carry the hermie trait. You may want to inspect your ladies for balls before they get too bushy.
I will be checking it out. I think the genetics in both parents both are known to hermi. If the breeder wasnt too attentive, i will be extra sharp.
After emailing joti, he says he has heard that herms pop up, but not moreso than his other stuff.
I have some clones right now that are rooting from all 4, so i am just hoping for an indication of which is the best and then i will be mothering the cuts outside for the summer to get some big mommas.
How did you find them as feeders?
I’m not sure what you mean
Sorry, like they take high nutrient levels, moderate or low?
I believe i was going too hard on the nitrrogen and stunted them a bit
Ah, well I grew most of them in my ebb and flow buckets under HPS and with CO2. I used Greenleaf Nutrients’ 2 part Mega Crop and Bud Explosion in RO water with Cal Mag Plus.
This seemed to keep them happy until the last couple of weeks, at which point, they do appear to be finicky, but it was never enough to stunt them. I mean, 13oz in a 5 gallon bucket!
My point is, my growing environment (temps, humidity, CO2, medium, lighting, nutes, etc.) will produce different requirements to keep my plants happy than someone whose environment is completely different.
Mine is also very sweet smelling, like frosted fruit. I was looking over the lowers yesterday and haven’t seen any nanners yet. Fingers crossed!
It’s not just the nanners, which tend to come later into 12/12 (even with “stable” plants), it’s the balls that you get from a true hermie. They’re gonna be hard to see at this stage, @Fitzera, but your plants do look great
Man I sure hope mine doesn’t, I don’t want it to affect the pollinations I’ve done. Late term nanners i can deal with, seen them lots, but like you said the damn balls i dont want. Either way I’m taking her till the end cause she looks and smells wonderful.
Thank you for the compliment, but it’s all the plant…I just watch her and rub resin off fan leaves for a smell lol
Your plants are looking so happy @jessethestoner. Beautiful!
Thanks a bunch Fitzera, i am quite happy but there is always room for improvement.
The plants have been slow to switch to flower vut they are chugging along now. No signs of any herms as of yet.
The added autos are flowering as well. I am watching the biggest as it may be a herm, i think i see a few balls. Will be checking later tonight.
My attempt at extremepy low effort cloning has had pretty low success margins. Out of 4 i put into a plain vup of water that i change every few days, 1 has shot a single root.
Out of about 12 i put into plain promix hp, it seems 4 are in good health, the others are fading fast.
Things are really taking off now. The front roght plant is having some kind of deficiency i think. I am going to be making a higher nitrogen mix especially for it and see if thats the issue. Might be ph related as i have heard sometimes peatmoss based mediums can get high ph
I have some aphids i am fighting. I havent seen any in almost a week so i am hopeful.
Clone tray is doing good, got some stuff i can veg out.
Space is limited so i removed the autoflowers i had stuck in there and now they are in a southern faving window. Not ideal, but this grow was just to test the genetics. As of now, i am moderately inpressed
Next batch of seeds is johnny blaze x blockhead by beanhoarder seeds sourced from hemp depot. Really like brad at hemp depot, fine fellow.

Johnny Blaze x Blockhead f5 regular

Johnny Blaze was a Legends seeds creation from a select Nevil’s Haze mom and a Sativa leaning Blueberry dad. Not that well known when it was released it had a real cult following for those patient enough to wait the 12 + weeks for it to finish. One of my all time favorite plants, a real elite in seed form, she unfortunately is no longer available. Large, long, fox tailing buds (often over 36" long) with a complex flavor of pepper, berry, cedar and pine…very yummy. What really made her special was the high. Extremely potent and trippy with the psychedelic trait usually only found in pure Sativas. I’ve crossed 5 of my top JB moms (all slightly different in order not to bottleneck this beauty) with my C99 and Blockhead dads. The C99 cross is more electric adding just a bit of body to the high. The growth is a little longer and lankier and may need addition support. The BH cross is shorter and stocker with denser more introspective high. Variation in flowering from 9 to 11 week. Some absolute gems are to be found in here. Highly recommended.
Indoor flowering 9 to 11 weeks.
