How hard is it to get to know people for things like that? I grow strictly outdoor, so it isn’t always possible to know what fertilized my girl. Do people look down on that? But, it does actually happen? More here than just talk? It’s hard for me to get to know people.

You don’t have to trade with people there are sites to buy seeds on. I am more solitary too makes sense to me.

Dead easy, you are doing it right now.
There’s a spring and fall box (twice a year) that covers all of the Co-op seed runs preservation runs etc. you sign up for. There are spontaneous seed giveaways (HINT: follow Corey 
)
Hang around here, post a grow log and settle in… You will soon have more beans than you can grow and explore in a life time (assuming you are old 
)

Only if you are dishonest about it… and some people might even enjoy that element of surprise.
I second @GanjaMa definitely take pictures, start a GrowLog, and let them know it’s a free for all outdoors; but I’m sure that someone will always want some free gear.
I don’t know how many would trade for it but you also got the giveaways on the FSFC thread.

Keep in mind it’s your grow log so you can update whenever, however you want. Doesn’t need to be every day do it on your time. And I will say the people here are super friendly and no one will judge you for doing a certain thing. It’s all good vibes. @hermit
