Howdy y’all. I’ve been growing for about 10 years now, outdoors in northeastern Pennsylvania. I started with a couple packs of Mandala Seed Company’s Mandala #1 and 8 Miles High that I ordered from the Attitude Seedbank. I let them breed freely, and I’ve been saving my own seeds ever since.
For a long time, I was paranoid about ordering any more seeds, so my gene pool has consisted only of the progeny of that initial cross. Over the generations, the plants have become adapted to my growing style and environment, and have become fairly uniform: tall, faintly fruity, fast finishing, uplifting, motivational high…
But this year I broke out of my shell and placed several orders with Mandala and JBC and GLG. For the first time in a decade, I’m introducing new genetics into my garden! I got Satori and Hashberry and Purple Paro Valley from Mandala, and DJ Short’s Blue V2 (“Thai side of Flo”), and Vermontman’s Green Mountain Grape and Zacatecas Tribute, and a bunch of crosses from Bodhi (Sunshine Queen, Silver Sunshine, Phone Home, Beautiful Day, Saint’s Crossing, Tiger Tail, Uplift…)
It is wonderful getting to know the peculiarities of these different strains, and to see the diversity of their expressions. Happy growing everyone. And in the words of the peerless Bodhi, “May all your dreams come true, and all your seeds sprout.”
Hi @Tygerflames! Welcome to OG! You’ll love it here! Guaranteed! Have fun!!
