Jinglepot Showcasing the Mars Hydro FC-4800

The holy and green crack look I ng good, these new leds are really amazing, I do believe it is easier to heat a space than to cool it, also your energy bill is going to like it also…

Maybe one day you will exchange your 4000 watts of hps in favor of led

Maybe! But that’s an expensive bill, lol, it’ll cost at least 3 or 4 thousand dollars to get the same coverage. :money_mouth_face::money_mouth_face::money_mouth_face:

I agree if it was 1 light for a 4x4 space but several lights to do the job is extremely expensive.

I would need 6 leds with 4x4 convreage at LEAST. My space is 15x10. My gavita DE 1000w Hps can get 5x5 easy

I’m in the same boat and the tin box to light the whole space I’m guessing a dozen 4x4 leds .

I know alot of commercial grows are changing over to led, must be an upside to it, maybe the power bills and the leds do last alot longer than bulbs?

That’s huge… no bulb changes. Power and heat too. Many upsides. Even better spectrums with these newer lights!

Definitely cheaper to run no ac required so that’s a big saving . Longer life vs hps bulbs so a lot of advantages just the initial up front costs .

Yeah, ive just bought TS1000 and its performs outstanding on smaller spaces. Almost no heat and I love that the driver is detacheable so it can be outside the grow area for even less heat.

The root game is strong in these ones. Great development top to bottom. Ready for an up pot in a week or 2, ill keep an eye on them. A couple could probably be uppotted today… but I’m not ready to see the little ones grow up so fast 🥲 lol

For real, I’m not ready, lol, I’ve gotta buy soil and clean my old pots out… I want my Holy Crack Seedlings to catch up a bit too.

Temperature and humidity Highs amd Lows are well within range. We play the waiting game now!

Nice rootage.
I am always amazed at the differences in grow styles.
If those were mine, I would have up potted a while back. I usually try to do it about the time my roots hit the bottom of the cup.
Yours are looking spectacular my friend.

These are the 2 most developed of the clones. They rooted in the cloner in 4 days and hit dirt 2 weeks before the others. Maybe ill get ambitious today and up pot those 2.

I’m away lots for work and outdoor adventures and with a more established root space and a little more root crowding I find it easier to flood my plants with a generous amount of water to tie them over a few days at a time without running into over watering problems. It’s not ideal for getting the most out of your plant growth, but it’s a definate positive trade up for my lifestyle

I can never get the full cup of roots always spiral down near the bottom ! Are you top feeding them?

roots go where the water is, so if only bottom feeding they will drive that way.

I top feed, I attribute roots like that to the Canna Rhyzotonic. I’ve added and subtracted nutes throughout my grows amd that seems to be the common denominator. I also let them dry out quite well, that sends roots all over looking fir water

what is the brand / name of your heater? nice and compact i like that.

It’s a Honeywell turbo heater. I keep it on low setting with heat maxed and let the inkbird do the on/off cycling.

I like these heaters better than others I used because they are almost impossible to tip over.

Hope you don’t think I was taking a shot at your growing style. Not my intent. I just find it intriguing the amount of different paths to the same outcome.
