Just a few notes on this ABSOLUTE SPECIMEN of a plant…
Originally she was hand-delivered to me as a fresh cutting, back in April of this year. Actually 4 cuttings made the trek, but only one developed roots. The original cuttings were smaller and weaker, quite literally the “last that could be taken” from Johnny’s mom, before she needed to veg some more. They were “cut n stuck” in soil, before spending a few days in an RV making the trip. I have never had success with “stuck in soil” cuttings, but figured Johnny knew his stuff, and these would root if I just did as he said. Not the best start for the girls, but at least one survived and rooted.
Once I saw roots out of the bottom of the small cup, she was transplanted to a 3g fabric pot on a mini octopot setup with hydroton in the netpot at the bottom, and a light soil / coco / perlite / peat mix in the 3g felt pot. I had to top water for a little before roots made their way down to the reservoir, but they made it there. Fun fact: I have a GDP in the same setup, and the GDP is half the size, with 3x the root mass. The Frankenstein has hardly any roots in the reservoir, but what roots ARE in there? THEY WORK HARD. She can easily drink 1 gallon of water a day, likely more (and I have now incorporated an auto topoff system to help with that).
So. once she hit her stride, growth EXPLODED. I feed Advanced Nutrients Micro / Bloom / Grow formulas. 14ml of each, on Tues / Sat (every 3-4 days). And water daily / (check topoff now). I made some cuttings for some friends a few weeks ago, and after that trim you could see almost 4 full squares on the net behind her (and in this pic, the top most branch is above the top square now). She bounced back with a TON of new growth. Thats a 3x3 tent she is in, and if I removed my cloning dome to the left, she could fill the thing!
Well, she needs another trim, I am trying to empty this place so I can list and sell and move (mom will go to a trusted friend then, she’s NOT making the 1900 mile journey to what will hopefully become my new home). But I can’t just trim and toss away such a rare treat. I know Johnny’s been hit hard with the medical bills lately, and he’s always been a good friend to me, so I made him the offer to take cuttings and send out for him to help with the bills a little.
She’s got a fair number of cuttings available on her. And you ALL have heard about the legendary breeding project that Frankenstein was, along with the actual tests that Johnny has had done of her, plus the genetic breakdown of all her parental lineage. If Johnny can say “its a strain you never tire of” and he’s been smoking almost since he was in the womb, I’d think that’s a pretty hearty testimonial to its effects. (Sadly, after growing her, I STILL wont be smoking any for a good while as I will need to start ALL over again with a new cutting when I get settled in the new place), but feel responsible to perpetuate this amazing plant thats only available via cuttings, and has KNOWN provenance

Well, my testimonial is to the EASE of growing her (I literally laid out a road map for you above, and she can likely be fed even more, I just dont want the growth right now!). She’s a FAST grower, recovers from making cuttings REALLY fast, and even better, roots EASILY! My first batch of 12 cuttings all rooted in 10 days in rockwool / 80F bottom heat / humidity dome. Couldn’t have been easier!
And don’t forget that the bush in the pic, is in a 3g pot, and almost filling a 3x3 tent…
Might as well snatch up some while they are available… Got a feeling they won’t last long, and it might be a while till more are available…

First of all Thanks Johnny for the deals on the seeds. 100% germination on all the seeds we popped
Blue Gold, Blue Light District, Pepe Le Bleu, and Frankenstein x Unicorn Poo all popped in 32 hours and above ground 28 hours after putting them into soil.
And another Thanks for the big surprise of Frankenstein clones my wife Lady Z got from you for my Birthday. Apparently they only took 2 days after you sent them to get here.

Don’t wanna step on @JohnnyPotseed toes here. But those Frankenstein and the crosses can take a LOT of nutes. You will think you’re overfeeding them. Next time you look, they are praying like no one’s business.
