hey Johnny, im assuming these are all for commercial sale out there in OK, right? how’re prices out there for you guys. i had just been listening to a podcast where they were talking about the market in OK and speculating that it’d go the way of Oregon where the prices started tanking, is that going on or are you still able to command a good prices for your stuff as a cultivator?

The market is in the basement here, price wise. They’re saying it was a bumper-crop outdoors. The Dispos have weed running out their ears and still charge the same, even though paying less per pound.
A lot of the outdoor growers are practically giving the stuff away. They’re the big reason it’s tanking here. A lot of em have absolutely no idea what they’re doing.

Naw cuz, I’m not surprised at all about this. Seen it coming for the past three years, everyone and their brother with a bit of money or a bit of land (getting cash backers) is trying to get in on the act. They churn out garbage by the ton and sell it cheaper than each other to unload it, and then wonder why they’re not making any money lol
I’m just sitting on it here, I’m not giving it away lol
If nothing else, I’ll just smoke it myself! I got my Social Security check and owe no one a damn dime, so I’ll make it without selling it.

Yeah. Churning out trash has kinda become the American way. Why should pot be the exception? Quality will still shine bright though. People will still pay a fair price for that after they burn out on mediocre herb.

Yeah cuz lol my ‘market’ usually gets started around January, AFTER all the tonnage is gone
the first year it was kinda bad, but it picked up in January. The second year it got worse, but same thing, picked up in January. This years is the worse of the 3 years I been commercial, but i expect it to do the same. Once all that outdoor weight has gone through the dispos the price always goes back up. Indoor is the highest priced of the 3 available. Indoor grown, outdoor grown and hothouse grown.

damn, thats a bummer to hear, but like @MoBilly not surprising. our state is working out the details of the rec market set to start in 22 and its like, which model will it be? everyones allowed in for low cost of entry and the price will hit the ground? or only the big guys get to play and we get corporate PGR and pesticide ridden boof on all the shelves?

I read where pot coming in from South of the border is being laced with Fentanyl. How low is that!?!?! It might end up scaring some towards dealing with reputable growers like our friend Johnny.

You could get hooked and not even know what your addicted to. Man what a quandary that would be.
Im just trying to wrap my head around why anyone would lace cannabis with fentanyl to begin with. What would possess a person to be the first to even try it? And why would anyone buy it, given the bad rap fentanyl gets.
Humanity truly astounds me sometimes.

I have heard of this too. Maybe they are trying to get them hooked, not realizing they are just killing them. This is the only thing my mind can make sense of. Sad time for weed smokers if you don’t know a grower.
