With the plants getting minimal attention, they’re really as ‘Au Naturale’ as they’d get. Next to just growing wild somewhere. Absolutely nada done to them and they chug along, showing some buds coming. But without any pumping or training, not very impressive yet. We’ll see what the end result looks like in another 2-3 weeks, I reckon.
Looks like Miss Rose is doing a perfectly fine job.
This is strange, I gotta say. The Ogreberry grow guides I’ve found say 9week plant, but this is 11 weeks as of yesterday since the beans got put into solo cups. They only got sprayed once with the BBP from @BudBusterPro and that was around 3-4 weeks. IF the BBP is responsible for them still going (like it did others I sprayed with) all I gotta say is ‘DAMN’ that stuff @BudBusterPro is potent, Bob! lol
But as you can see from the pics, it’s at least another week away from harvest, if not a bit longer. lol
These girls were pretty much let be for most of their lives. Rose feeds em once a week and plain water every day. Temps in the room are fairly constant at 75F, and humidity is 55-60%.
They seem to enjoy things the way we have em. Pics coming in an hour when she goes out to turn on the lights in both rooms. We have the Ogreberry on a 19-7 light cycle with ‘lights out’ from 1PM to 8PM.
Johnny,
Hard to say…you know how reliable seed company ‘weeks to harvest’ guides are !
No doubt you did get some vegitative stimulation out of your single BBP application, how long it would effetively do so is a little questionable in my mind…
You’re a great grower, and I’m sure your nutrient program was dialed in.
In my mind, if there was any compromise with the single application of BBP, I would expect it to be expressed in bud stature and development…
I’m sure you may be looking at the Ogreberry in the future (when you regain your mobility) so it will be interesting to see how this grow compares with a future grow utilizing the full BBP program!!
LOL, either way Good on YOU!
LOL, don’t see any compromises there !!!
I can’t help but wonder how they would’ve done with full treatment of BBP and feeding every other day. Nice buds on these but the tallest plant is only 2’
Looking good so are those genetics something you think you’d grow again ? Some are looking a bit leafy !
I’d have to put them through the BBP program to get the max out of em. Just to see IF I’d want to run em again. These were just left to do what they do.
Well, these 3 Ogreberry are looking about as done as they’ll get! lol It’s ‘choppin time’! Maybe today, no later than tomorrow. It’s been about a week since my last update, I said then a week or so then.
Got the harvest done yesterday, and here’s an update. The pics don’t begin to show just how thick & leafy these were. They were a PITA to trim, hopefully the buzz makes it worth it. I will run them one more time, though. Just to see if a treatment program of BBP will help them stretch away from short & thick.
There was a lot of bud on them all, but the thick-leafy growth is second only to a couple other strains I’ve encountered over the years.
You should have just hit them with your Q-36 space modulator ……
Ok update time.
These plants were grown out ‘au naturale’ with 1 small feeding per week and water daily. Under LED, using organic, DIY composted potting soil, amended with everything a plant will need for 5-6 months.
After 9 days drying & start of curing, We rolled up a fattie to check it out.(purely scientific investigative nature ) Buds are sticky to the point a grinder barely shreds them a little, more just pulled open the buds a bit lol
The buzz comes on nicely, with a good head-tightening… Using first impressions, it’ll be very nice when full cured.I can say with confidence this one would be grand under proper growing conditions.
I’m only sorry that, due to my medical issues interfering, I wasn’t able to give it the proper respect & care it deserved.
Sounds like what you did do was good enough man
