We have Hognose here , but rare. I saw a big Eastern Kingsnake a couple weeks ago. Swam across the pond we were fishing.

This gorgeous water snake was hanging in the road out front of my house. I love snakes. Saw a black rat snake traverse from one of my stock tank raised garden beds to another, just hanging from old stems all the way in between. Its 4 ft away from the other and 4 ft up the n the air. But when I see those guys, I know that my mouse/rodent issue is taken care of. 🫶🏼
