It seems that any plants that present hermaphrodite traits with the first downsizing, remove them and keep the ones that don’t herm. Repeat until those reactions are gone. There is something else going on, though. Getting to exactly what is causing THAT reaction is where the special sauce begins.

When you breed a recessive hermaphrodite line, the first generation hides the trait because it is not a dominant trait, but the following generations usually reappear and this is what happens to many

Hey nice to see plants from the regions of India 
A Dude who visited India came back with bagseeds like 8 years ago and gifted me some. (I have no idea which region it’s from).
I tried to germinated some but only got a male. Very nice Sativa leaves, but not exceptional vigor, anyway…, so I though I would make seeds with a DinaChem pheno I had at the time to see what it does.
Grew like 20-25 Offsprings: came 13 females (multiple plants per pots. then culling) very diversified.
I noted 3 females had something to work with. 1 had a great floral scent-aroma “Rose” flower like very nice… I still have a couple seeds from those offsprings (can’t remember which male pollen made seeds with the offsprings, probably some herms).
Didn’t explore more. I was just curious to see offsprings of that Indian Sativa bagseed male.
A nice experience.
