Did you win an IG competion maybe? Those are the strains that the Landrace Mafia were giving away i think…or from @TestOfOath ?
Not me unfortunately, wish I had the resources to bless people like that but not quite yet
Good news, I’ll report back when someone arrives in Canada
having issues in loading a picture from camera to computer to OG site ___Help - mu only excuse is “can’t lead a old horse to water” man I want a drink bad !!! Also nice to have a expert for questions on Sativa’s - one can allways learn something new
It is possible that you are unable to upload pictures yet. @Guitarzan is great at explaining everything. I’m sure he can help you out. I don’t know if I would call myself an expert in pure sativas yet, but I’ve grown a dozen of them now… definitely not a noob anymore…
Here’s a screenshot for you. Press down on the black thingy I circled for you. After you press that it will give you a couple options. Whether you want to use your camera to take a picture, or whether you want to go to your stored images. Hit the appropriate button. Wait for the picture to finish uploading. That little thing that spirals around on your phone will stop spiraling around when it’s done loading. Hopefully this helps a little bit LOL. Good luck!
Thanks !!!
Nah, he’s TL2, so he’s good there.
Here’s how I do it. Start the post on your PC, by typing anything, leave the screen up, and switch to your phone. Fire up a browser, and login to OG. Once you’re in, go into your drafts. You should see your post in there, so click the “Resume” button to go into the editor. Then do just what @Upstate said, click that icon, get into your picture library, then just tap the pictures(s) you want to upload, and click Add.
When they finish uploading, hop back on to your PC and hit F5 to refresh the page post, and voilà, there are my pictures. I think it’s a lot faster because it bypasses the phone to PC transfer, which is the biggest PITA about the whole thing IMO.
Good luck man, let me know if you need a hand.
thanks !! will give it a try
Up date time
Wow look what just showed up
Thank you @Shiv9545 blessings to you and yours
@Upstate
Do you know anything about these strains ?
Holy F king $hit… Maybe I’ll be getting mine soon too then. I’ll update whenever something happens.
Did he send you an Eye exam as well?
Definitely need help reading these
Looks like Bhadra - 15, Trimbak - 15, Urmrul (which should be Umrul, I think?) - 10, Meghalaya - 10. Neat, landraces usually have so much untapped potential. Happy growing!
It’s ukrhul I think.
Wow, this is excellent news. Perhaps there’s a chance I’ll see mine yet.
Yeah, guess that’s more likely, since it pops up a couple other times in the thread and there’s no mention of Umrul. Anyway, seems like good news.
I got a PM from Shiv with a picture of the receipt for my shipment. It left India on 9/30, it’s headed this way.
I got a really good feeling about this one!!
Lovely plants
They sure were. Great daytime smoke, but after completing more landrace grows i think i may have picked them a little early.
Just yesterday i was thinking about Indian landraces. I had intended to have tried more of them by now. There are so many landraces from India to grow and when you find a good one you are literally just scratching the surface of the genepool growing a few plants. I hope some of you getting seed from Shiv decide to grow them soon and help me explore India’s massive genepool.
@Papalag… Bhadra, Trimbak, Ukhrul, and Meghalaya. Nice haul! Bhadra and trimbak come from Western India. Bhadra has massive head high and that’s all I know unfortunately… @YoBigdaddy has a few going now. Trimbak is an heirloom grown by a family Shiv knows.Trimbakshwar is a town located in the Northwestern Ghats mtn range at the source of the Godavari River. Looks like it would be a good one for growing indoors. I have not grown any yet so it’s just a guess based on plant morphology, but this variety looks to me in pictures like it may have come from further north originally. Maybe Pakistan? Nice long colas on this one. Grown for decades by this family. Faster flowering than the others.
Ukrhul is an East Indian Manipuri landrace grown by the Naga tribe since the 50’s or so. Overall the plants are less potent than Manipur cannabis grown in Imphal Valley, with pollen from cultivated males and even feral plants being allowed to seed the crop. It’s a more rustic version of manipuri landrace. However, if you do happen to find a potent Ukrhul female, it can be as or even more potent than cannabis farmed by the more experienced growers of Imphal. More than one person has said that Ukhrul cannabis is the most powerful they have ever had. Intense high similar to Thai.
Meghalaya is located west of Manipur just North of Bangladesh. This state is basically an island of mountains surrounded by Flatlands. Because of this, there is a tremendous amount of rainfall. Potentially the wettest place on Earth. This region seems to be a Melting Pot of genetics but from what I can gather,
there are two main genepools. One of them has fruity or mango smelling cannabis, and the other is more floral. Not sure which one this is yet…but it should be good😁
@Upstate thanks for the reply
I heard from @Shiv9545 on IG today I let him know I received my package and he was surprised It arrived so quickly
Not being familiar with the landrace in general I’ll go with the Trimbak as you stated should be a shorter flowering time and she will be by herself in the small tent
? Would you advise start from 12/12 ?
Spoke to Shiva again today on IG
He stated the Meghalaya and the bhadra would do well indoors with training
So Meghalaya is the one I’ll start in the new year
I vote @Shiv9545 wins OGbadass of the year award
