It dose look crazy. I can’t wait!
I’m going to just keep on keeping on. My Hopscotch is doing very nicely. She’s drinking a gallon a day out of the reservoir. Do she’s keeping me on my toes there. She’s a very strong vigorous plant. What is your average grams per plant? I’ve been getting 2.5 OZ per plant in my tent. This time I didn’t do the SCROG method. Nor did I top. I just did LST the whole way. In the future I will top them. The amount of growth was incredible! So I don’t feel like I will be missing any grow time. If I flower 90 days I’m shooting for at least 3 zips or more. The Gelato and Blueberry Autos should be done within the next 30 days so I will be able to give the Hopscotch the whole intire tent. She’s going to love that.

Well from what I read, moisture from the hairs activate the pollen. The spraying neutralizes the pollen by activating them and making them spoil. So as long as you didn’t wash the pollen off, it would take

Hey @Chronickyle you are the guy that came to mind when I was thinking about the fruit and vegetables I really want to grow this summer. I guess because you have Flynn, Bebe and tractors and stuff. I want to grow Sweet Corn, Beats, I have a special request for Beefsteak Tomatoes from my grandmother. Also I wanted to grow Brussel Sprouts. How are the seeds from Walmart and Home Depot? Should I get them someplace elce? I have never grown corn before. Anyone have any tips or suggestions to where I can get seeds or how to grow any of these. Or even suggestions to other fruits and veggies that might have slipped my mind. Thanks.

Hey man ill be more happy to help anyway I can. Later on I will go into detail on the best way for each one and we can figure out what will work best for you, personally my favorite place to buy seeds is rareseeds.com I avoid buying seeds at places like Walmart as I avoid hybrids and try to only grow heirlooms.

This year for the stuff you listed I traded for red bull Brussel sprout seeds. Will be one of the only hybrids I grow this year. I typically only grow open pollinated heirloom varieties so that I can save the seed each year, for sweet corn I have damaun super sweet and stowells evergreen, for beets I have chioggia for the ones I’m storing over winter, white sugar for fresh eating and bulls blood for beet greens because of their high levels of anthocyanines I have a ton of new tomatoes to grow this year but one of the most favorite around here is called purple Cherokee they are deleciois on sandwiches and quite large. Of what you listed I would direct sow all of them where you are growing them except for the tomatoes their suggested to start 6-8 weeks before your last frost date. I usually go for about the 6 week mark though. Lots of vegtebles to grow, as for fruits they would depend how long you plan to live where you currently are, my suggestion is to grow what you normally eat, anything you eat I can probally help you grow. Except for tropicals. I plan on building a green house heated by a geothermal earth battery for those as it’s cold here in Canada.

I just gave it a spray to keep what was on there from blowing away. When I did the second application I noticed that the buds were hard as a rock so it worked :+1::grin:. So now I know it will work but not the proper way to apply pollen. I don’t even know how or why I thought that was the way to do it. The things I did was right. Just the way I went about doing it was off. Lol.
I do thank you @Seamonkey84 for your interest in my first seed making journey!

It looks nice. I wonder when the Calyx browns and appears to be dieing if that is a indication that the seed is close to maturity. The pistols are so dark it looks as though they could fall away at any time. What the name of the strain of the seeds your making?
I just ordered this book.

I think I first came across this one was a link off of @Gpaw 's projects. But I’m not 100% sure. It seems to have alot of in depth material on the subject of breeding among other things. :slightly_smiling_face:

This Is an Interesting Topic:

Seeded Cannabis Vs. Sinsemilia

Now there is claim that you get a different effect from your Seeded buds over our beloved Sinsemilia. I can see how when a plant is pollinated it changes the hormones in the plant. In turn the chemistry that changes and those changes change the overall effect of the smoke. We might find out.
Please share your thoughts if you have noticed different between the medicine. Thanks peeps!

When I was young most of the weed we got was imported from somewhere ( Im in Canada ) and was always seeded. Use to use a record album and a pack of rolling papers to deseed it. Hated it when a seed would blow up my joint.

@LilJonB the first plant was just shy of 4 0z, 103 grams. This last as funky as it is I hope to get close to 3 oz. I gave a buddy some of the trim/leaves and he’s been bugging me for flower I haven’t tried it yet but he said its :fire:, leaves w/ trics on them. I hope yours turn out the same. I’m gonna bake them tonight
