Since I was fired from my job the store has been robbed twice, a friend got robbed at gun point, and last night two customers were shot and killed, a employee was shot but still alive. The shooter shot himself.
I really would have been there last night. It’s been crazy out there.

So for the ugly ducklings the Gelato Auto
It’s hard for me to get a good shot because of the clutter but her main is getting pretty big. It looks like she’s got another month to go. Long leaf stems all lanky like. I’m just not all that into it her.
This is the Blueberry Auto
The EC was dropped on both to a .9 maybe I will see them get a little more healthy color. The Blueberry really has an excuse. Had to take away most of her growth to keep her.
I hope for two better looking ducklings here in a week. They are getting special attention.
Hopscotch is drinking like a fish. Sometimes it scares me. I can tell I can lay off the nutes a little bit because the ec jumped up to a 2.1 from a 1.7. She’s leaving to much behind. I tapped on the sites I pollinated and there hard as a rock.

Hey, what pH probe are you using? (I went back through this thread and I didn’t see it. I also tried a Overgrow “search” but I don’t have the search figured out entirely. I couldn’t find the information on my own)
I have an old, discontinued Bluelab pH Truncheon. It came with a sponge in the end cap that the user was supposed to keep moist. Well, mine disappeared, deteriorated over time, I guess. Anyway, I made another sponge but I didn’t like how it worked. So, since then, I’ve been keeping the Truncheon stored in a prescription bottle with tap water in it. It seems to be doing what it’s supposed to - keep the tip moist.

Hey @WhiteHotAfterburner! I’ve been catching up on your thread and boy you have been keeping busy! Real busy! I’m almost caught up. The double lock thing is a cool trick for keeping your stuff. I would be concerned about someone wanting to wake me in a bad way to get the key tho. Luckily I don’t have much to steal. Lol!

A sponge is a great Idea. I still throw the damn thing in my bucket and wonder why my PH is so low. Lol. I’m not used to the fancy-ness yet.
I did get some storage solution. That’s the good thing about Amazon. They will get it to you fast. As much as I don’t like to give them my money. We need to open another hydro store around the way. I miss my old Hydroponics store. I didn’t grow Hydroponics back then tho.
I can see how the pens are nice because you are not attached to any wires. But I’m very happy with it tho. Really easy to operate and calibrate. My old pen was a whole 1.0 off. I had a funny feeling it was off too. I’m happy to see you stop by.

Well, there is one very important thing about using a Double Cylinder Deadbolt; the key should be left in the deadbolt while humans are occupying the space. IF there is a fire or some other emergency you don’t want to be fumbling for the key. “Honey, there’s a fire - do you have the key? … No, honey…I thought you had it” 
IF someone wakes me up demanding anything that will provide me with a opportunity for a “Live Fire” exercise to keep me in fighting form! 
They are perfect for unoccupied dwellings! 
Nice meter! Very nice! I just read the Owner’s Manual for your Bluelab and it says this “Store pH probe tip in a container of fresh water between uses…”
So, IF you choose, you can do what I am currently doing…
Just make sure it doesn’t topple over and damage the device.
I understand your frustration, with devices and lack of local business!

After a couple of mistakes with pH, I just went with drops. They are cheap, and won’t let you down.
and of course you can use the pH meter if you wanna double check.

I’m happy with any comments and responses. I’ve derailed a few topics in my time. Wakamaka4 is relatively new to the topic.
I was wondering about storing the probe in water. I guess if I took the time I could have read the one that came with the meter. I just get busy, or fed up. Lol. It’s good to know. I really hope the probe lasts me more than 9 months which is the life expectancy. Or was it 8 
. I have more then enough calibration solution to last a few years. I accidentally double ordered ph and ec calibration solution. I guess I’m set in that department.
Yeah keeping the keys in those locks would be wise with people in the house. That was a horrible thought. My gosh.
@Wakamaka4 the drops are good and would lean on those over a cheap pen any day. But you definitely want to know your EC PPM so I figured I would splurge on the last meter I will ever need. I will have to replace the probe. Blue Lab are good folks to deal with from my understanding. Just gotta keep that meter box from falling in a bucket of solution.

Your animated emojis, are code they written in?
They are saved files from MPG. I “save image as” them in a file that I then grab out of here on OG.
I think you can do that with them here. Just right click on them and save it (them) in a file you’ll remember where they are at then used the “Upload” function here in the OG text box to plug them in.
Btw, not my idea. Someone here on OG helped me with it. It ‘may’ have been @dequilo, I think…
