The Hopscotch? Mine from my bucket is about 2.5 feet. I didn’t top her. I just bent her over and spread her side branches out. The main stalk is running up the right side of the frame.

If you don’t on the other hand I know she can get monstrous! 5 feet easy. She’s got a little sativa in her.

These are from a tiny bud from the bottom. I can’t hold the microscope still enough to get a shot from the top buds. Still pretty clear.

I had to spread out the Hopscotch a little more. She was getting to close to the light for comfort. Between that and the my tent getting into the mid 80s f. it’s looking like she’s trying to Fox tail. I’ll get photos up in a lil bit.

I don’t know if it’s the start of foxtailing but I wouldn’t be surprised. I can’t wait until we turn the AC on in the house. So at the moment I’m trying to take preventative measures. If it was another plant I would take it down. But because I am probably the first person here to document the Hopscotch I want to get her across the finish line properly.
Here are some more pictures. I know I just shot some. I can’t help myself.

I really like this shot. Trichome production is unreal. I would like to think the Bud Candy helped with some of this. I do give @Hoppy a lot of credit.

Yeah I know the it’s not true fox tailing but it’s gotta start somewhere and I really don’t want it to. Mi homeboy showed me one of these.

Even if it’s just for the tent. Anyone ever use something similar? 85f is unacceptable.

Ever have a a Hopscotch fox tail @Hoppy ? How long did it take you to make the the Hopscotch?

Here is some high resolution pics. I have to screen shoot them because they won’t load otherwise.

What do we have here?

Let’s see how she dose. One out of 6 tho is not great but it’s something. I’m going to drop a couple in Rapid Rooters. See if I get better results. I’m still waiting to see if the other 5 pop.

I used one almost identical to that called Arctic Air. They sell them at Walmart. About 30 bucks. iIRC my experience was that inside the tent it helped a little. Maybe 5-10 degrees. It also puts a lot of humidity in the air. Basically it’s a miniature Swamp Cooler. Might help , A LITTLE! Be aware they usually have a light on it to show it’s “on” you can cover it with some electrical tape to keep from shining during lights off. When I used it, it was over a hundred degrees F outside and it pushed the temps into the 90’s. In the tent. With like 75+% humidity.
Hope that helps buddy. Plants look stellar!!!

Thanks @BigMike55. I’ll definitely need a dehumidifier as well. I shouldn’t need it during the summer. We will have the AC on by then. If I ask them to turn the AC on because my plants are hot they would probably look at me like I’m crazy. Lol. It’s no really not practical.

@LilJonB she can handle heat, I did all that in my shed. It averaged 80-85 degrees. There were days it was in the 90’s in there. It was a two year process, obviously I was limited through December and February. If your fox tailing is the curling (I’m not up on all the lingo) then yes. If your temps aren’t spiking to the mid 90’s and she’s drinking i would run with it. My understanding from a book i read in the 80’s tricomb production is a cooling system for Marijuana. I kept it hot when in flower, your seeing that in my opinion but some other OGs might have a different opinion. You’d be shocked if I showed you what I built to grow. My wife won’t let the smell in the house. I’ll post a pic in a bit. I opened the door when temps were out of control. Looks fantastic bro let her go. Btw do you have a fan running?

This is my spot, the first one I’ve since bought a 4x8 tent that I’ve moved a few plants into (especially for my hydro attempt) it’s at another location.

Yeah I got a 4" for intake. It’s actually more then my AC infinity 4" can handle. I’m sure the carbon filter don’t help. Also have a little fan across the top. I should get another little fan in there. It’s assuring she can handle the heat. I’m probably just paranoid about the heat. I put a lot of work into her. I just want to get the best she can do out of her. You can see I pulled her down away from the light as much as I could.
Fox tailing is when it looks like Calyx stack up on tip of each other rather then clusters of Calyx that make a bud. Makes trimming horrible.

Here is an example.

I had to tie her mom down too, she got so close to the lights she started bleaching on the tips. I understand your worry but you’re doing fine in my opinion. Your girl is everything I could hope as the end result. She’s tough with nutes and heat, had to be I’m a hard ass.

Ive had foxtails a few times. I wouldnt say it makes the trim harder if theres no leaves in the foxes but a once tight dense bud that foxtails a while can become airy and loose. Just my limited experience with em.

I’m really happy with her. Wish she was more purple tho. The purple is beginning to seap in from the back of the leaves.

Can’t win them all. When do you usually see purple show up in the others you grew. Looked like you had some color towards the beginning of flower.

True. As long as they are off the top of the bud. Then you have to decide do you keep them? Or trim them.

I dropped one of each with a Hopscotch on the side.
