If youre looking for breeding discussion rather than journals, I gathered some of my bookmarks with threads discussing breeding specifically. Hope they help.
Btw (Not sure how familiar you are with the OG forum format, but a good tip is to also check the links and threads attached/linked on the first post of each thread, they will lead you to even more info)

Currently the way the cannabis industry uses the term F1 hybrid is wrong. An F1 hybrid (or filial 1 hybrid) is the first filial generation of offspring of distinctly different parental inbred types. Cross-pollination involving two true-breeding, or homozygous, parents, result in an F1 generation that are homozygous and consistent in seed form. There are very few, if any, true F1 hybrids in cannabis because every modern variety is heterozygous (highly variable). The P…
Hello folks i thought it was time some of us discus breeding methods. I especially wanted to open up dialogue surrounding issues of one to one breeding vs open pollination an the actual uses for these things as well as inbreeding depression an how or why it comes about. Its seems that many people have a false belief regarding some of these issues an this thread may be useful for many people who want to try to breed the best along with getting high quality an potency from the seeds you breed even…

Interesting and thought provoking article from Mr. Clarke. It’s interesting what kind of threat, for perhaps the first time in history, indoor propagation with idealized climate conditions of a dioecious plant is likely to have on outdoor varieties. I think we tend to take a lot of pride in our work, and most of us never consider open pollenation as having much viability toward our end goals. This conceivably becomes catastrophic to outdoor cultivation, as eager breeders take seeds bred indoors …

Hey.
Here I plan to show how I use homemade papper bags to isolate and collect pollen from donors and use that pollen to make small batches of seed, in the same space I flower my sensi. Than you Mel Frank!
I collect from clones grown in one gallon pots. When the flowers start to form I trim the lower half off to help focus on flower development and it makes it easier to bag. When most mature flower is close to opening, it’s time to bag.
