Thats a nice big flush, could use a little more air prob but np. Sometimes I consider switching to straw…I’d have to find a clean source(no herbicides)

Nice, yea need to figure out a way to get more air to them. Thats the second flush feim this batch. Right now ive got a fan that kicks in evert couple hours but might switch it it every hour. Yup, rosemary. I grabbed this as a baby from mennonite farmers in my area and take cuttings from this plant to start others. I grow it under an led and give it some 1/4 canna veg nutes every few weeks. Keep it under 12-16 hours of light a day. Seems to be loving life

90 mins seems over kill. Even 45 is a bit much for agar media
And your recipe is a bit complicated too. Just agar and LME works great.

I have changed that.
Use the same recipe but pour into 1/4 pints . Put on lids, put rings in bottom of pressure cooker to be able to add more water to the pot, add filled jars. Pressure cook at 15 PSI for 90 minutes

My agar usually only 20 mins but can go longer 90mins is what I do a whole PC full of grains jars. Also there is literally hundreds of agar recipes just basically need agar and food source. Potatoes flakes, dog food, corn syrup, brown rice flower so many possibilities. Good luck on your grow adventure it’s very addictive.

Okay I never grew shrooms before. I have a jar of agar, some coco, and a spore print. What is the simplest method to get some shrooms from what I have. I’ve been reading forums and YouTube but am a little slow with the funghi. Thanks in advance
Pf Tek is easy also forgiving with contamination. You can put spores in a shot glass with some distilled water and suck up with syringe to inoculate jars. Also make agar is easy put some spores on agar and let the spores germinate and start mycelium transfer until clean culture. Then add clean culture wedges to pf Tek jars or sterilized oats, grains, or other food source.

Don’t soak the cakes in water before fruiting in the monotubs. I’ve had some trouble fruiting the last few times. Either not enough light or not enough air exchange. I’m not sure.
