I have a lil update for you, I ran my first wash!
Well, it was sort of a test wash, not a tremendous amount of material, in fact here is the left over drying out in the oven:
Here were the tiny results (I only had enough ice for basically two washes and barely that:
And a couple things of interest possibly for you… as I keep going back and forth to the oven checking on the dryness, the buds are still sticky (prob cause I didn’t wash enough), so I’m hoping I can get some decent qwiso…
Also, I decided to experiment for my first time as well (because who needs a reference )…
This sort of came from my first post on another thread, which I started) where I was wondering if/how I could do a bud washing (not ice water hash) and then do a dry ice hash…
Well, long story short, I just ended up doing the ice water hash cause it washes it anyway and both ways were going to get it wet…
However, this is where the experiment took place. Basically, I implemented some of the practices used for general bud washing…
My first tank fill was with tap water (all fills used tap water) and h202…
Then what I proceed to do was after I had drained into the bags.
At this point I used two, 2 gallon pump sprayers, the first one was filled with about a 1/2 cup of lemon juice, 1/2 cup of baking soda, and about 1.5 gallons of RO water…
And the second sprayer was just to rinse it off the solution of the first sprayer and the tap water, this sprayer has clean RO water (it’s not really realistic for me to fill up the washing machine with RO water.
Anyway, not sure if this was a good idea or if it messed up the hash… in fact, I’m a lil worried that the bags may have caught some baking soda in them potentially… the worst part is I am very, very not familiar with how bubble hash should taste and feel so I won’t really know, guess you might have to try it as well if you are curious lol
