How long in the freezer for you when it’s that’s lumpy?

11 days in the freezer. If you scroll back 11 days you can see the picture I took of it just after entering the freezer. The lumps are actually pretty small.

ok so I’ve got some observations that people might find interesting.
During one of the hash runs, I was rinsing the 90 micrometer hash in the bucket. When I pulled the bag out it formed a seal on the edge of the bucket so there was a pressure differential between the top of the screen and the bottom. That sucked the water out of the hash in a really strange fashion.
And another thing, this is the strangest one. I took those failed wax chunks and put them in the freezer just sitting there in an open container. When I took the thing out and thawed it, it was flexible and waxy. Like WTF?? so I rolled it into a ball and ripped it. Strangest thing it went in there all brittle I could snap a piece in half and it would crumble. Now it’s been frozen for a long time it doesn’t look different but I can flex it back and forth as well as roll it into a ball. That blew my mind.

ok I’m all prepped to make some freeze dried meat breath hash. Hopefully I am going to make a batch tomorrow, but I also have lots of crap to toss in the compost. I can’t afford to be lazy though, the clones ARE rooted after all! Hard to pull a double shift, too busy playing computer games hah hah. yawn fucking tired though.

sukkah! My hash is on the way to the freeze dryer! and I thought nothing exciting was happening, but the super best friends are congregating. i am remembering the diamond mining, aka short path distillation. Oh my, getting all worked into a tizzy.

Does the inside the freezer (non vacuumed) still count?
yah you can perform the freeze drying process inside a regular freezer. It’s the same process, it just takes longer. You have to specially prepare the hash for freeze drying by making tiny bits out of it. I cut the larger yield up into tiny bits using an x-acto knife, then slot it in the freezer on parchment paper. Trying to freeze dry a large chunk is futile.

You know the hash is dried when you push down on a small bit and it crumbles into powder that then melts on your finger.

Could it be a large chunk as long as it is thin, or even still needs to be small pieces in your experience?
