So I don’t know if this would make a difference, but would you press and then store for a month, or store for a month and then press?

Press it and then toss it in the fridge for a month. You can use jar tech to make it happen faster at the cost of terpenes.

A modest pile of hash…drying in the freezer. I don’t know what the gunk is on my hand, but it won’t come off.

I’ve decided to get an electronic rosin press. I only need 300-700 psi to press the hash into puddles. So I don’t need a honker hydraulic one. Getting one of those small lab ones where I sit on my ass while it presses rosin for me. I just have to…wait and wait. I think they are shipping from mars

It’s doing something. Not sure what…yet. The components should separate, as far as I can tell from the documentation. And from what I’ve seen with my own eyes over mmmm at Jesus place when he was showing me the award winning methods. lol! It sounds stupid saying it like that but in reality… He got the award winning extractor from california to come up and show him how the extraction is done on a crazy level. Then I went over there and he showed me how to do it, then I did it. When the super duper crazy press gets here I will probably have to start a new thread that encompasses the entire process as I was taught by the legal producers. It’s nothing special, just industry standard award winning shit
I can’t wait to see how this turns out. Hopefully it measures up. I have to keep in mind, the same process was taught to each contestant in the cup, so if I’m not bringing my A game to the party, I might as well go home now.

Cranking off another batch. I think I plunked a kilo in there for a spin or two. PRobably too much I was thinking I was insane as I pumped a kilo into the sack. Meh we’ll see what happens right? Too much of a good thing? hmmmmm, is it possible??

fuuuuuuuuuuck me! That was the biggest batch by far. I can’t wait to test this one I did a really good job on the plant material end. Hardly any specks. This time I put the 25 micron screen under the parchment because I noticed a few drops of water would freeze the parchment to the cookie sheet. I finally found a use for that thing and it’s for drying hash! amazeballs!

I’m busy ripping that last batch I made. It crumbles into dust on contact! I slowly melt it with my thumb, then rip it.

Hell yah, I live to rip concentrates!!! mmm flavors, smells…we’re both producing prize winning hash that makes me happy just looking at it!!! Hey, you try and melt some with your hand? I take it out of the freezer and put a nugget on parchment then fold it over and hold it in my hand. Turns into that puddle, then I let it cool for a min on the table and rip the parchment back.
They assured me the rosin press I ordered is being assembled as we speak. We’ll see how long it takes. Can’t wait!
Reminds me, your batch looks like the prize winning one from the contest. I don’t really see any changes with my rosin yet.

Dam that looks good ! Checked on my batch in the freezer still wet took a small chunk and let it sit out . I know it hasn’t been a week I’ll grab a picture and post up when I’m out there next time .

Not intentionally, but what got on me while packing the bags pooled up a bit. I turn everything into rosin
