My Bubble hash making tech

oh my pops reminded me that I use the scientific phrases with abandon. For example a “non-falsifiable” hypothesis is an idea you can’t prove true or false, so it’s default is false. A falsifiable hypothesis is one you can prove true or false. So then you have to test it  :vulcan_salute: for coming up with one.

tonight I’m going to do the soak test! The last hash batch I made was negative for dark particles of bugshit/growing medium/whatever. So cleaning them out in the freezer works great!I fully recommend those videos by dr bugbee, he’s the shit.

oh man, my favourite! hippy craaaaaaaaaack!

It’s some freeze dried hash. You can see…sparkles!!! Each sparkle is a little trichome saying hello. lol I mean it’s the light glinting off that sucker like when it’s on the plant. I am drooling to rip this stuff already, but I gotta finish cleaning the bags!

lookit the little shiny ball on the right hand side it’s all amber… that’s what it turns to when it’s air dryed in a thin layer that melts into… that amber ball. I smoked the rest of it WHEEEEE! lol I have a game when I’m watching a video and every time someone makes an unsubstantiated claim, I take a rip of some hash!

lol last night I went to finish cleaning the bags, and instead that damned pile of freeze dried hash suckered me in. Next thing you know I’m playing computer games! I know people are like “I ripped that hash and got blasted!” But I’m not really like that. Seeing as how my thc level is 1000% in my blood it just brings me back to normal. I can get really focused on a project… in this case my project was playing a computer game  the cannabis really helps me handle reality. Ugh and I’m in the high risk group for pandemic death - so you know I’m not leaving my house. howls like an animal arooooooo!

I washed some for my self recently. I enjoyed the heady high and nice taste.

is that stuff freeze dried?

I got me some hash yo! Resembles the baseline though. I’ll wait a bit for the water vapors to go away then I’ll post a microscope photo.

you could actually be forgiven for thinking I just took 2 photos of that first creamy batch and posted it to fuck with you. Wrong - I’m not an asshole.

heyyy so I realize that the results of this will cause…uhh cognitive dissonance. Sorry 'bout that. You just have to know I am trying to help.

Yes sir. It certainly is.

love me some hippy crack! OK got the results from the experiment. Looks identical under the scope to me, what do you think?

the only difference I could tell, I spose, was that more of the chlorophyll dissolved into the water when I was doing the mix. I washed that crap out though.

alright unfortunately I have to rely on someone else for the press. Perhaps in this day and age I will have to use solvent extraction and my distillery. I could do a quick wash iso extraction on both types of buds. Dried and weighed buds to be exact. One day I want to try wet and frozen buds in the freezer with -18C alcohol.I rolled that freeze dried hash into a ball and smoked it wheee! I notice it melts way easier when it’s freeze dried. Just touch it with your finger and it’s all sticky. Once you roll it into a ball it’s like glass if you cut it too quick it shatters.

I’m gathering more ice to make more hash batches. You’d think I got enough hash to float some kind of aircraft carrier…but I want to make it all. There’s probably over 100 grams of hash in the whole batch of buds. Each hash batch I crank out is basically one plant’s worth of hash. so 5 batches at 25 grams is like 125 grams…hmm that math isn’t right. Ok perhaps one batch is just less than an entire plant, so after 4 batches I have enough for one more, since I only grow 4 plants per light. My ancient record batch was 40 grams in one mixing session. Gnarly Shit™ but I can only get a max of like 30 with these buds. It’s fine, as I said, I’m on the prowl for the ultimate hash producer, can’t start off at the peak…where the hell can you go from there??!

rolled up the latest freeze dried batch into a lovely ball. You can see I have already been hittin’ that.

just touching it with your finger melts it. Eventually I’m going to have to analyze this shit.

lol all the crumb piles around it are the freeze dried sugar black rose hash…stuff is TRASH! still sitting around unsmoked. Any bets on if it could be rolled into a ball by touching it? cause it can’t. Definitive proof the sbr is a garbage plant.

Are there any characteristics that would indicate to you whether a plant would be a good source (or poor) of bubble hash?

Cheers

trichome field density is the hypothesis I am working with. capitate as @Mr.Sparkle says. But also, when I cut up the buds to roll a fatty it creates a small pile of hash under the bud pile I can pick up and sprinkle in said fatty. I always refer to them as a “fatty” if you know me, you’ll know why. If the epidemic ever ends I can try gathering data from the people I know, as well. I have to try these tests on the buds they have. My mega hash producing plant always left a nice pile of hash after the buds are cut up. You could chunk it into a small brick lol. The trichome count has to be done by microscope I spose. I’m not sure what kind of nuts optics are out there now, but the main rig I have is worth 1000$ darkfield Dunno what a cheaper scope would even see, but a good magnifying photo on a camera would probably work. You need to take a photo so you can compare them at a level your eye can’t see, and have a record of what you saw. Otherwise you’re not comparing anything, the human mind isn’t some kind of memory machine. Unless you’re talking about confabulations hah hah!
