My first ever indoor grow

If the dragons blood doesn’t need an extraordinary long time to recover a bit from flopping I plan on starting flower on the first or second. And as to the other issues @Dalorean meh it happens. I’m just super impressed how the dragons blood came back from being mauled. It could stand another week or so in veg to show it’s full potential but alas I haven’t convinced my girl to let me build a small cabinet yet… I will tho never fear.
Even if it’s an extra bump out of a foot to the closet to give me a 3foot by 3 foot flower area a 2 by 3 veg and then the clone shelf would be for mother’s and the clones would get their own 1 square foot secrion. I want to get a small perpetual going so that way I keep myself in what I need. I’m on a strain hunt at the moment so I can find something that’s good for my nerve pain I have and well. I used to garden house and yard plants organically at my old house that I had lost to a fire. Then I came to find the site that is Overgrow. Gardening makes me happy and I can still do it a bit So as stated elsewhere neighbor gifted me a clone that reveged on me before the last nuggs were ready for harvest. Got about 3oz from both harvest n that brought me inside and here we are. Also I’m totally winging it right now. I have no testers for my tap water that im using I just read what she tells me and if don’t know how to fix it I read till I do mainly here.

Tonight’s photo update. First up is the mk ultra followed by the dragons blood both are doing well still will be first day of flip tomorrow. Real life got busy the last few days and I got behind.

Up next is the lil auto that could. It’s a surprising lil thing. Growing so fast n all.
The last pic is a shot of my clones. Yay I succeeded in cloning the beast that is mk ultra.
One will become a mother and the rest will get flowered off after a good month of vegging. I plan on keeping her for a bit if only for breeding potential down the road a bit.

Very good advise brother! I needed that as well. Amen to your grandmother sounds like she was a good Christian woman. That’s a very wise saying in the Holy Bible. And yet so true.

Thanks much. The Mk-ultra is having a few issues at the moment. I’m thinking it’s a magnesium issue and am going to try and rectify it tomorrow when it’s watering time again. But so far so good. Came this far without major issues and with luck I’ll get over the hiccup with the mk.

Did your MK ULTRA come from thseeds or are yoi growing a cut? @joecool

Not much of an update today just showing what’s going on today. Up potted the clones following pic is the root system the largest clone has all the others were similarly looking the same

Next pho is their new pots and the smaller clones that took a bit longer to root

Also in this shot is the little auto that could. A question about autos. It seems to have a “bedtime” around 8:30pm where it starts drooping like it’s under watered and then every morning it’s all standing up tall and proud just to droop again that evening. My question is has anyone else have a plant that did that?

Yes, I’ve seen autos droop before lights out before. LITFA.

have seen this before …must be they are relaxing before sleep … i wonder if she perks up before the lights come on ? what do you guys mean when you say auto ?

Yeah I think it does perk back up in the mornings before lights on because it’s always stand tall first thing in the morning. Autoflower where it has a set time limit as to life itself. They flower no matter the light schedule. @ReikoX could probably describe it better than I can.

that is what i thought it was…they must have come a long way with them in the past ten years or so as that lady looks to be much bigger then ones i saw in the past …is why i questioned what it was … when i grew in the greenhouse i had plants that did this as it was getting dark … maybe the slower “lights” out made plants do this but it is sort of neat

Yeah they have come a long way. When I quit growing 20 years ago there was whispers of autos but nothing more than that and then I start growing again and I see how far they have come… hopefully gonna be trying some for a full run for my third run. Next run is 4 Mk-ultra clones then hopefully some autos just to see how they do in my space

Most all photos included will get the pre night droop ,not as noticeable when running 24 hr light but flip to 18 or less and they will droop a hr or so before lights out .

Was not aware of this. It’s interesting to say the least. All my previous grows have been outdoor gorilla grows so never seen it happen. Also the 2 in flower now haven’t done it as far as I know. so was curious about it.

maybe you can give me some advice on that …am thinking to try a few this spring …my biggest worry is they will not finish in time …i have a fast growing indica is about 8 weeks so am thinking if it does not frost early this might work

have you ever tried black strap molasses? … Blackstrap molasses is ideal as a fertilizer because it has a lot of calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium, sulfur and a whole lot of micronutrients. This type of molasses offers plants a quick surge of energy and inspires the growth of beneficial microorganisms.Feb 7, 2019

it seems to work well and is gentle …mix a couple table spoons in water

My normal harvest time when I grew gorilla was end of September first part of October. Also I put my starts out a bit earlier than most do. I’d put them out the second week of April and mulch them really well with leaves n such from right around the grow area to keep them protected from frost. I only visited each site 3 times normally once to plant once to cull the males and then once for harvest. I just let mother nature do her thing. At most I’d put some rabbit Pooh in the soil for fertilizer and dig about 2 feet deep and 3 across per plant. I’d normally start with 20 to 25 plants spread into various spots and on my best year ever I had 15 fems normally I’d end up with 8 to 10 fem and the rest male. As long as I could get enough to last me most of the year I was happy.
As to your other question no I’ve never used blacksrap myself have heard mixed reviews form everywhere. Some swear by it and others say it does nothing.

well its cheap readily available and will not hurt … if it does not work for ya i have a killer ginger snap recipe you can use it in

thanks for the info … am planing to reveg a mama and get clones from her…are clones out door ok? …i think mid april is to soon here …we can get frost well into may …also thought it might be good to wait so there is other green stuff out there for the critters to munch … if i use clones i do not need to sex em… so go plant …pray… and then go harvest (i hope)

Today’s photo uodate.
First up is the clone I took for my next run. The 4 I kept for myself are doing good under the blurple light.

Next is the Mk-ultra and dragons blood that are in the first week of 12/12 still have some slight clawing of the top fan leaves but for the most part she’s pulled outta her funk with the discoloration of the leaves.

So far so good with the grow even with the hiccup of the bit of mag deficiency for the mk but otherwise things are going very smooth. I’m really loving this indoor growing, so much in fact I may not go back outdoors.

Today’s update isn’t much. Just a pic or 2 showing how much the mk ultra and dragons blood are stretching so far. The dragons blood has stretched quite a bit. Both are throwing hairs like no tomorrow.
Dragons blood first then an aquward shot of the mk

Then the 4 clones I kept and the auto that could. The auto in front and the 4 mk clones in the back
