33 seeds (all bag seed) found in the attic, probably 15+ yrs old. Subject to some temperature extremes, annual cycle is freezing to 120F, so if ANY pop, I’ll be re-writing the seed storage guide. Hopeful, but I realize its a million to one odds. Still would be nice to get something worth keeping out of them considering they are not heavily bred.
What I am really enjoying is the varieties… Bag seed in the past was always the “same old same old”, they all looked the same.
I love that I can look in the 3x3, immediately tell the black creams from the spirit train, see how much brighter the NL green is, the short / bushy growth of the BJH…

Your Black Cream #4 looks allot like my Congo/Gelato.
Do you know the lineage? Just curious because they look so similar… have you grown it before?
Sweetseeds is the breeder (Europe). This is the description:
"Black Cream Auto is a cross of the well-known and much-loved Cream caramel strain with a purple auto strain which traces its heritage back to Pakistani Kush plants. "
All 4 of them are are the same seeds, though Black Cream 3 is about 2 weeks older than the others. I expect them to purple up some more too. I grew two of them this summer, and the smoke is a great night time smoke, so I popped more seeds to make seeds. Cassanova is a black cream thats been reversed
Your Congo / Gelato reminds me more of the Tropicana Poison F2 that was an auto, leaf structure looks closer. The black creams really end up with minimal trim leaves and more calyxs, while I can see me trimming that Tropicana Poison heavily when shes cut. Of course I hit her with some black cream pollen, so I am looking forward to lots and lots of purple producing seeds!
The Tropicana Poison I got from the server raffle here is likely a fast version, but I don’t know much more than that.
I spent a few hours re-arranging some stuff today. @Smoke’s pics blow me away, and I wanna try and get similar shots of the variegated Want that nice black background and nothing else. Still have some more re-arranging tomorrow, but I think I’ll have some sweet shots to share tomorrow night The variegated has begun both her stretch and throwing more than 4 pistils this week (finally!). Her sis is much further along (pics to come tomorrow, :D)
And of course, I find more work tonight. An Uncle Festers Skunk #18 decided to show me his balls in the photo tent, so I gotta dig him out tomorrow. The good thing? He has a sister I’ll definitely be making some UFS #18 seeds with them!!! I just need another isolation tent! ugh… I knew this would happen… 1 tent, became 3 + a room, and its never enough!

Yeah, was kinda hoping something would pop, wouldn’t have been fire, but mighta been fun… Two looked like they split open, but that was all they had the energy to do, no tap roots emerged at all. Was a fun experiment, kinda like the lottery LOL…
I’m kinda happy UFS decided to throw me a M/F pair. I pulled him out today, put him in the 2x2 with the black cream treated with eXe and the blue cookies that seems to be in full on flower, not just a few, but quickly catching up to the black cream. Possibly an auto, at the very minimum a fast flower because its still in 18/6. The UFS18 male did not fit in there, lol, just too tall for the love shack, so he’s sitting out on a bench and will be bonsai’d a bit tomorrow…
Blue cookies is also throwing lots of pollen, and I am inclined to attempt to collect that as well… He’s a true male, so it doesn’t hurt to have a little variety in my genetics and some pollen to learn / practice with.
Finally, a little organizing / consolidating here… Have my little germination / clone / work station / water storage. I prefer to use the 1g water jugs for ferts since its pre-measured, and at room temp. my well water is ice cold.
Auto 3x3 tent currently. There’s some nice variety in looks right there. I do enjoy the many appearances of the plant. It does seem that my spraying of eXe on the dark devil didn’t take, there’s plenty of pistils on him / her at the moment, so I might just load him up with black cream pollen if he never grows any balls…“he” is front left at the moment.
The black cream is a smooth, caramel tasting smoke. Not much blackberry flavor compared to the (how coincidental), Blackberry autos I ran side by side with it (from seedsman). They have a more fruity taste than the black cream.
Ground up the nugs are just dark purple, almost black. Tomorrow I think I’ll make a little salad and put the black cream next to the blackberry, with the three unknowns next to them and snap a pic. All definitely different!
The Black Creams are all from the same seedpack from seedsman, I numbered em so I know which has more color (and I’m really liking #3 at the moment) since I pollinated em. #1 is now more pink, which is unusual. #4 has nice fade going on in the sugar leaves…
Want that nice black background and nothing else. Still have some more re-arranging tomorrow, but I think I’ll have some sweet shots to share tomorrow night
