Such a cool thread, I know nothing about 3d printing but the technology is amazing, I have a mate over here who is a genius on the various printers and he has actually printed out every part to make his own life-size terminator 2 model! This thing is absolutely incredible,one of the newspapers over here printed a photo of it they took from his Facebook lol :laughing: it’s crazy the amount of time and thought he put into it:v:

No. My pay pal has been doomed for the last 4 years.

Looking to purchase a two or three hundred of the little 90 degree fixed clips. Theywould need to be dishwasher friendly. Would really be interested in a ten pack at first to torture test. If i like them we will go from there.

Hi all im just getting into 3d printing, figured id post here, im happy to print out things for people if they are willing to bare with me and cover my costs and a couple pennies for time because i really want the practice. I am very new to 3D modelling but i am learning so any custom requests that you cant find on the thingiverse or other site i can attempt to make but dont expect too much of me.

im also lookin for advice and tips and whatnot to improve my game so any advice is very welcome.

This is my grinder work in progress. Figured it was a nice easy design to get to grips with fusion 360. Im not entirely sure how thick to make the walls for strength so i set them at 5mm seems a bit thick to me but overkill vs breaking :thinking:

What a dope thread. This that shit that changes reality for the better. OG ftw. Big ups to all the printers/engineers/creators. Yes.
Peace

Thought I’d update this with a more workable idea. What would really be the best build would be a trapezoidal pyramid with a 6x6in base and 3x3in top. This could be sized between 12 and 60 inches high.

Interesting, can you help my small brain get around the idea? Im a little confused about what you want, from what i understand you want it to slot together so you can build it up to whatever size you like?

Have a look on this site, theres things like this and many others.

So far on the design i can get it all to print strong enough with much thinner walls than 5mm but its getting the right threads and diameters to fit it all together snugly is where im at.

A 3D printed PLA grinder is futile. I’m sorry to say. Unless you like smoking PLA…

Are any more suited to it?

I need a bean buster to describe it , it’s a threaded bolt that screws to a platform/bed I can draw it if need too

@Bob13

I’m not looking for vertical slots… basically each pyramid will have a 6x6 inch base so they slot together at 4 per square foot.

I think that given these will presumably have a watering system, 16 ounces per plant should be enough space. This comes out to about 24 pants for a 24 inch tall pyramid.

Basically the hardest part would be to get the plant sites properly arranged on the pyramid surface; sloting the prices together, and positioning the watering tubes.

Also it should have about a 2 inch base for drainage etc, like a hempy bucket.

How much hash does one person need? Getting high with math :wink:.

So how much weed does one need? Let’s say you have a tent setup with 60 inch high grow pyramids; these trapezoidal pyramids have a 6 inch base with a 3 inch top edge. Each square foot contains 4 pyramids.

Each of these pyramids has 7.5 square feet of plantable surface area, for a total of 30 square feet per 4. For sake of the argument let’s assume we can get 4 ounces of flower for a total of 1 ounce of hash per square foot. Each 12 x 12 inch section can then produce 30 ounces of hash per cycle, with 4 12 week cycles per year each 12 x12 in section can produce a total of 120 ounces of hash or 7.5 pounds.

So if you grow with this you can produce 45 pounds of hash per year from a 2x3 foot grow area or 60 pounds from a 2x4!!! :grin::grin::grin:

Each individual pyramid (4 per square foot) has a volume of 5.45 gallons. At 16 ounces of media per plant, that’s 43 plants per pyramid or 172 plants per square foot.

That comes out to a grand total of between 1.97 to 2.63 ounces of hash per day.

Now that’s getting high off math!!!

:four_leaf_clover::four_leaf_clover::four_leaf_clover:

Just for fun, what is a $$$ figure on that? Say the hash is worth $55 a gram… lol :joy::

$55 x 28 grams x 16 ounces x 60 pounds = $1,478,400.
Now that’s alota dough !!!
