Bom dia para todos e boas colheitas
Hello, congratulations on the initiative. As an advice I can say that the main problem would be over-care, try to balance this. It is very exciting, so we tend to over-care and harm rather than help. My planting is outdoors, I’m starting indoors and I will accompany you to learn together. There are specialists here who are sure to help … hug
Bem-vindo ao Overgrow. Muitos aqui dispostos a ajudar. Considere o uso de um aplicativo de tradução para alcançar mais de nós, não falantes de português!
I also made the same mistake in the beginning … It turns out, he will edit not to go to the international area.
We can talk in Portuguese at Overgrow Portugal and Brazil 🇵🇹
Welcome!!!
Good morning, I realized that here I must speak English, I am new here and in indoor cultivation, and I would like to know if I could send here some photos or videos of my princesses in case I have any doubts or if I don’t know or not notice they can advise me on the best steps to take. I’ve read »The Cannabis Grow Bible The Definitive Guide to Growing Marijuana for Recreational and Medical Use» and I have been studying for about 2 months 3 on the subject but it is always different what we see others do and what can happen to us.(Today already bought a mini humidifier) Continuation of a good day, good harvests and lots of health for everyone who at this time is what we need most.
I forgot to say that they are Gellato # 33 fast light and a 250w this 18 / 6h and the seeds were put in the glass on different days, 1 I put it first (12/18/20) for testing because I was afraid of doing harm , and I only put the others on 12/23/20. At first, the light was very low and I ended up yellowing the first one a little, the light is already higher and the princess has started to turn green again but the leaves below have dried and fallen.
Welcome to Overgrow! Everything I learned was from this community. Lots and lots of reading and comparing notes.
The most common problem is over watering. Lift your pots before you water, then lift them after. Once they get light again its probably time to water.
Another is ph. If your ph is to high or to low it will cause Lock Out. You want it to be 6.0 and 7.0. So shoot for 6.5. If its to high or low the plant can’t obsorb the nutrient it wants and needs.
Last but not least feeding. When your just starting out get good soil. It will make life easier. Soil can buffer your ph. You can do a grow start to finish in good soil. Most like to feed during flower. By then your nutes in the soil become depleted. But if you do decide to feed always use less then more. You can always add nutes. But its difficult to remove.
Oh! Temps! If your growing in the basement keep your pots off the floor and keep your space between 75f to 80f. Hope this helps.
Thank you very much for your attention, I used to water every day with little water now I water better until it starts to come out from underneath (a few drops) and only water every 2 or 3 in 3 days when I have the top dry with my fingertip dry. the ph is always around 6.0 6.5 and the earth is the one I will leave below in the photo.
Normally I would say that every 3 days might be to much. But I don’t see signs that you are over watering. Plus the HPS might be putting off some heat.
Make sure those PH test strips alow you to test low enough. I’m having trouble reading it. If you can get some to test 5.0 and up would be good until you can get a Good ph/ec meter. There are some cheap ones out there. Mine gets me by but still gets me worried. Don’t go the cheap route with those. I haven’t had experience with the other stuff. Alot of us like to use Fox Farm or Pro Mix soil. HPS is good but I never used one start to finish. But 250w should be enough for your space. Just make sure it don’t get to hot in there. You can get pretty cheap fans to pump the heat out your grow area. Little fans are a must. Good air circulation is needed and it builds your plant strength up to hold itself upright.
Unless you plan on flowering early your not going to be able to grow all those in that box. I’m sure your going to want to wait to see which is female before you decide to cull any of them.
YAP thanks for the time and words friend have one good day
My first real grow was with an HPS 250 and it worked great.
You need to do some research, pick what works for you and roll with it.
In my position is was. 250hps, a computer fan for air exchange and hydro nutes in a soil grow.
You’ll get there.
All the best.
TY TY TY ALL great community that we have here. can i send a photo of my princesses soon to give me an opinion if everything is ok or if i have to do something that they are showing?
love and health for all

all good for u all
IN SOME MINUTES I WILL SHARE A PICTURES , Good nigh all from Portugal
these with the frame of the bags are still small to get out of here I think (I don’t know if you can see well but I didn’t want to remove the bags because I took them out a little while ago)
I do not know if I should start thinking that it is a male but this is the largest one is beautiful but I have seen that many times the largest ones are males (being female seeds, even so, can it be a male or not?)
Here I already started doing LST on the 4 largest leaves at the top.
