hey @NorthNorthNugs cant seem to find that brand you posted, you think this is basically the same?

just needs to be wettable sulphur right? something that can get mixed into a spraying solution?

Ya exactly, it says “micronized” so you’re good! It’ll be a very fine powder that will go into solution. I got mine at a local hardware store but that one should be perfect.

thanks buddy. ordered.

Lots of big developments. Went on vacation for a week and left the plants. Came home to find some very hungry plants and a few issues.

Here are some shots on the day of my departure a few weeks ago:

CDLC has completely yellowed up. I thought maybe she was just finishing up but she has barely swelled up in the last two weeks, which is unusual.

I’m a bit disappointed because I had high hopes for this one. I can’t find any signs of pest damage or anything… I have a feeling I just didn’t have enough in the soil to meet her demands despite top dressing and twice weekly feedings of nutrients, not to mention foliar feedings. It’s a bit frustrating but I’m still learning this organic style.

SD x SS is a bit worse for wares as well. Lots of yellowing and dying leaves on the lower section of the plant.

Obviously she’s hungry and I’m adding a lot of extra nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus and potassium to my feedings but I’m afraid to over do it… maybe so much so that I’m under feeding. I’ve blasted her with a few daily foliars with soy aminos (water soluble nitrogen), TM7 (micro nutrients), water soluble gypsum and water soluble sulphate of potash. She’s greener now and the yellowing has seemed to slowed.

Here she is beside my new 3 gallon pressure sprayer for a size comparison. Love this new toy! Foliar and IPM sprays in a snap!

I’ll top dress again with a heavier bloom feed and load up the top of the pot with some worm castings.

All plants have stretched significantly and I’ve spent the last few days defoliating in preparation for flowering. I want to encourage good air flow and I believe this will help out a lot. The plants were getting very bushy. The day after defoliation the plants showed significant increase in bud production. It was crazy. Sorry I don’t have any direct photos to show this so you’ll just have to take my word for it.

Snow G lost a lower branch. Fkn pissed… that’s like 2 ounces or more just on that one branch. I found her this way upon my return from vacation.

I had repaired the branch previously but this new damaged caused a bad tear in the stock and I just couldn’t repair it. So I cut my losses.

Japhy, my CBD plant, was also looking very hungry. I’ve given her a good hair cut and a bunch of feedings and she’s on the mend.

The new autos, Strawberry Cheese Cake and Sunset Vibes have shot up significantly. Here’s a pic the day I left;

Here they are now;

Star Pupil is doing solid and same with the Lemon Afghani. Star pupil on the left, followed by Lemon Afghani in the middle and Japhy on the right after a good defo session.

Some more of Lemon Afghani. The first is pre defo and the others are after.

The gojis are doing their thing. Hungry as well… smaller pots so they’re a bit more to keep up with. I’ve been too dressing weekly, basically.

I think that’s about it for today. Sorry if the pics are all over the place. I’ll post more soon. Hope you’ve all been well!

I finished curing and trimmed up Zkittlez this week along with Mango Smile. I sampled the Zkittlez on the weekend and woooooweeeee! Soaring high! First time I’ve ever felt anything like that before. It was like drinking a few cups of coffee but with zero anxiety! The buds have a real sativa look to them, airy and tall. This is one of those plants where she smokes and smells and heck of a lot better than how she looks. I keep popping the jar just to have a sniff. It’s loud! Like, bitter lemon and orange peels mixed with a bit of fresh pine and just hits you in the face when you open the jar. It makes my mouth water. The taste comes through in the smoke too, almost mouth coating but not intense. It’s a delicious smoke. The high comes on fast, it’s a bit intense for me but I really enjoyed it. My mind felt like it was gliding through the clouds… typically I never touched the narrow leafed “sativas” due to the fact that it would cause me so much anxiety and panic but I really enjoyed this one. It’s definitely exceeded my expectations. I’m not actually sure if the actual Zkittlez cultivar was meant to be a sativa or not but this Seedsman variety is really nice.

I’ll come back with a Mango Smile smoke report soon. Just trimmed her up today and popped the jar after the buds sat there for a few hours. This is the most exciting time for me because I feel like after a few hours in a sealed jar you really get a sense of how the buds will smell if you’ve done the drying correctly. When I popped the jars just now I’m getting a similar citrus peel but it’s a lot more muted than the Zkittllez. Citrus, pine but with like a new shoe, shoe box, tennis ball rubber thing in the background. It’s very unique. I did smell some dank melons while she was growing so I’m hoping that will magically reappear. Here’s a few nug shots of the mango smile…

Maybe you should make compost out of the Raccoon shit…animals are smart, they may be doing it on purpose by your grow…trying to throw you some hints.

Anyway, back to the log. :grin:

pots are very small. top-dress won’t hurt, but to me, you’re in liquid feed territory.

1/2 of my outdoor auto’s are doing the same thing. I think it’s the weather @NorthNorthNugs as we share the same climate.

I had to do similar with my UK cheese. Soaked in my week 4 flower mix, topped with EWC, insect frass and chicken poop pellets.

Haha trash panda shit is toxic. Fk that noise.

It’s a 30 gallon pot, so not that small but otherwise I agree. I’ve been feeding heavy this week with water soluble nutes and then today gave a heavy dose of liquid fish. Already greening up a lot more and looking healthier.

Here’s SD x SS this morning:

Well that makes me feel a bit better. It has been exceptionally hot with almost zero rain in the last two months. Couldn’t imagine life without the Blumats.

Ya I’m real keen on her as well and I’ve been babying her the most probably lol… I plan on producing some fresh frozen bubble hash from her at harvest. So it’ll be straight to the freezer with that crop for a wash when it cools down in my area (December or so). Been slowly acquiring all the hash making tools over the last 4 months or so. Just need a reliable washing machine and I’m in business!

@Rogue

Here’s some more shots for you. Star Pupil has a “V” like structure as you’ll see. Not only does the plant as a whole grow very tight and V like but the buds and fans are adopting this growth pattern as well. I’ve never grown a plant like this before but I would be willing to bet that this is a trait of some kind of geographic location, such as Afghani or maybe a Pakistani trait but that’s just a guess. You can see what I mean here:

Here are some full plant shots that show the overall structure (milk crate for scale):

The Snow G has a very similar growth structure as seen here:

Back to the Star Pupil. Here are some detail photos and close ups of the buds and leaves. You’ll notice the sharp serrations on the fans and the cupping that it does that makes it accentuate this feature.
