@MysteryMoog what you think of the roots?

Your roots are very healthy , I feed every time I put water in the res , you want the roots to travel towards the food source

I would feed the seedling with low ppms 400 ish
What do you feed ? Npk?

How old is the seedling?

2 weeks going on 3

And I’m feeding the seedling the same as the clones, 860ppm (700 scale) 6.5 ph

The clones have greened up from yesterday. I think they are finally going to start growing now.

May I ask why you run your PH at 6.5?

It’s what works for me.

The octopot isn’t full hydro, it’s a hybrid. The roots get the benefit of the soil, and the benefit of dwc.

The octopot says 6.2-6.5, I choose higher because the soil will reduce the PH over time. With 6.5, after a day in the rez, it’s 6.3.

That makes sense. I have only used coco or pro-mix, so normally run between 5.8-6.2. So was just curious.

Yea 6.5 in coco will kill your plants.

I’m using Pro-Mix BX with 50% more perlite

10 gal of promix and 5 gal of perlite.

@Syn , if you use 500 scale , it’s easier for us ec people to convert : )
If everyone using ppm did 500 scale would make life a lot easier , having two different scales is confusing especially if people don’t know what’s being used in every post with regards to ppm : )

Does that help?
