One plant one light, been using this tech for almost 10 years

There are alot of people here that don’t know what they are doing, yes. Been there, done that. Give us a thumbs up for progress. Remember, not everyone is an idiot though. We do have many though.

I was born in Washington, glad to be living here and not there now.

Edit: after thinking about it for a minute, it is lack of planning that seems to be the most prevalent issue. Growing a bunch of pot and becoming a millionaire isn’t as easy as it sounds.

My initial vision and plan had me cutting down about 3000g every 30 days by now. All I can say to that is “oof”

Wow @Outlaw that is an amazing setup you have. I spit my coffee out a bit when I saw the size of that trunk! Nice work! I have been thinking about growing one plant at a time in a 2x2 space with some kind of crazy led diy light setup. Would be a blast. Thanks for the inspiration

I have a buddy that invested all his retirement. I hope he doesn’t die trying! He knew nothing about growing before he started. Only time will tell.

I dove head first into 400 sqft of space with 100,% hydroponic setups.

My previous experience was 7 years or so ago, with fox farm and t5’s.

Luckily he is being mentored. Still someone normally wants to make the system better. You take something that is proven and try to mess it up. Only time will tell. It is looking good so far.

Like bandit said, die trying!!

Now i live and grow in the same house. Two months ago, I didn’t. It was to the point where i would get anxious on my way to the house because i knew there was gonna be 10 new problems and 3 of them I wouldnt know how to handle.

Some days I just wanted to lock the doors and leave the shit sitting there lol

I haven’t grown in some years and it’s been the same way this year for me. Found some mites last night. Woo hoo!

Little bastards can turn a sunny day into a thunderstorm.

Just for the sake of sharing information, 50lb bag of calcium chloride(ice melt), two 5 gallon buckets, one with holes drilled in bottom and sides, fill it with ice melt, put it inside of other bucket, boom - homemade dehumidifier.

Edit: Probably not new information for many of you, but it blew my mind lol

Maintaining a IPM schedule is a lot easier than dealing with infestations, if there is webbing its going to be a battle, if not azadactrin aka azamax soil drench your veg plants every 7 to 14 days. Iso and water 50/50 in a spray bottle will slow them down and do minimal damage to your flowering plants. Floramite is a last resort but very effective on veg before flower. If you didn’t know. Don’t let it get the best of you, learn from it and build a schedule and it will save you lots if time and stress. Cyclamen mites are another story, those little fuckers can go unnoticed and kill your yields for many cycles before noticing them. Indicator plants are another great ipm technique. Remember badgers are ferocious, fearless and persistent animals that are not to be fucked with!

I try my best to be a kind badger, but those other adjectives do apply. You are correct. This is not a battle in plan on losing. I will have a better, preventative plan next year. Thank you for the advice.

Wow, that’s a lot of space and ought dedicated to one plant, but your results show. That isn’t a stem, that’s a tree trunk!

That rock salt bucket trick… Really seems to be feasible for a tent in summer. I would imagine it’s just course water softener salt? I was surprised to see most methods were calcium chloride ingredients… Very interesting! Thanks for the share.
