Looking lovely, my friend. The Arise x Golden Goat looks super happy in the Earth box; you’re just running a single plant in there?

yea. I’ve seen some growers on here do 2 plants and cover crop… I think I’m going that route next time. Loving the earthbox so far though. I just topped off the reservoir for the 3rd time, so once every 8 days so far… perfect for the summer, low maintenance. @StunFlower

Refill every 8 days! That’s sweet. How big is the rez in your earth box?

so far 8 days, I am sure soon it will be drinking a lot faster once it hits full flower, but yea it’s nice so far.
About 2-2.5 gallons. There is an overfill thing on the bottom that lets you know when you put too much. I put in just under 2 gallons this time cause I didn’t feel like having to dry vac (or is it wet vac?) the overflow.

Starting flower tomorrow, so wanted to get some pics in.

Earthbox with my soil mix listed above.

I am only using a 135 watt QB in the 3 x 3. I am not trying to max out this tent for the summer, too hot. If she gets too tall I’ll end up adding another light and turn them down so they can be closer but still have good canopy coverage. But that’s why I added the net so early, helps keep her tied down.

I plan to do a top feed soon, fishbone meal, earthworm castings and pack it with a lot more soil. I haven’t gotten around to the worms and all that stuff this run, next time.

I plan to have more interesting grows later this summer.
Thanks for reading!

F6 in the pics.

A lot of size over the last few days. My tent has been running a little cooler than I like but it got up to 76 today for a couple hours. It’s been staying about 71-73 and 60% humidity. I am probably going to add another light soon and do a nice defoliation in this coming week.

It will probably be 6 weeks before I pop any more seeds (yikes!) but here’s what is in the vault that I haven’t popped yet. I’m thinking of doing a change of pace for my late summer grow and run a pack of the JB Chem x Romulan, then maybe The One bx… I’ll have plenty of time to think about it.

Have a good day!

Decisions, decisions  What a fine lineup to choose from! Ceiling Licker - doesn’t sound like a strain for the small tent!

ha I thought it meant the effects had you licking the ceiling. I will find out soon enough.
I wanted to go stinky next run, so I’m hoping the chem gives off a couple funky plants.

Yeah, any sorta Romulan cross shouldn’t be getting very stretchy at all. I pictured somebody flat on their back, staring at the ceiling. But I don’t think “Ceiling Stare-er” sounds as catchy as Ceiling Licker.

That Dragon Temple might be a good one to run, especially if you find some Temple leaners. The one Bodhi cross I’ve grown that utilized the Temple female (Tree of Life) was some of my favorite weed ever.

@minitiger

good to know and thanks for the input. I ran half a pack of the Ethiopian Flame V2 and enjoyed it.
The Dragon Temple I am really interested in running too. It’s between that and the Ceiling Licker I think.

Luckily I have a few more weeks before I decide which pack to pop.

Just wanna correct myself here real quick. The Tree of Life was the Temple male, not the female. Still oughta be good weed, though haha.

F14.

Added about 1.5 gallons of soil (Coast of Maine Stonnington and Castine blend mix) with 3 Tablespoons of Fish Bone Meal and earthworm castings.
Defoliated.
Added another 135 Watt QB, but I turned it down about 50%.

I’m having some humidity problems, some spikes up to 70%. I have to figure it out. I don’t want to turn on my dehumidifier, but I might have to in the next couple weeks.

Otherwise it’s just top off the reservoir when it’s bone dry.

Easy week. I was out of town for the weekend, so it went quick and the beauty of the earthbox is I only have to fill the reservoir every 5-6 days. Only gripe are the fungus gnats. I probably have to get some beneficial insects… vacuuming everyday helps but not perfect.

I cleaned up some fan leaves, raised my lights, and turned the left light up slightly more.
In the next day or two I will top feed some more EWC, soil, and Fish bone meal.

I still haven’t decided what I am going to run next. This heat wave will help me decide if I want to deal with the heat this summer or just skip the other tents until it cools.

I like Gnatrol for the fungus gnats. In fact, I’m planning on watering with it tomorrow haha, noticed a few buzzing around when I was watering the plants yesterday. I’ve used all kinds of other shit, mosquito bits and diatomaceous earth and whatever, but Gnatrol will totally eliminate them. And it’s organic.

Plant looks good! Haha.

I have some nematodes coming in a few days. I am going to try that first and if that doesn’t help then I’ll have to pick up some Gnatrol. Good info on the Gnatrol, thanks.

Nematodes were the initial thing I tried when I got fungus gnats for the first time. They seem to reduce the population and maybe you won’t see any at all for a while, but then the gnats come back. That coulda been just because I had a super-bad infestation or something, I dunno, but that Gnatrol shit really, really works. If I water with it, like, right when I first see a few gnats and before it gets too outta control, I usually only need to use it once or maybe twice. But I’ve never had to use it more than three times, like eight days apart, no matter how bad they’ve gotten.

Promise I’m not a shill for Gnatrol haha, but it really does totally eliminate them. You might wanna grab some yellow sticky traps, too.

right on. You sold me on the Gnatrol haha, I have some on the way! I will try both out and see what happens. I did a quick google search and it seems the BT in Gnatrol won’t harm the nematodes, but even if it does kill the nematodes, as long as it takes care of the gnat problem then I’m happy.
