Awesomeness @SWIM_Yenobi ! Best of luck with your Snow lotus repro!
Good culture make us dream

Good choice for a reproduction. Good luck and I’ll be following along
Good luck on your Snow lotus @SWIM_Yenobi. Excellent excellent excellent choice!!
I popped some of these a while back hopefully I find a keeper. Good luck with your next round of projects!
Very nice. I got them direct from Shantibaba. Last attempts have failed so far. What type do you have?
Mr nice Black widow if anything stands out maybe a future pollen swap could be beneficial?
Stonefarm IBL Project:
One of the plants started making seeds after being pollinated. A testament to how long I’ve been on this project much of them are mature. I’ve been picking and shaking seeds off. 1-2 weeks left of Reveg then I will flower.
The spray bottle is just bleach and water.
Mothers:
Gorilla glue Josey original cut and my “C2” (probably farther down the line but first replacement for me if I don’t just keep original. I just chose best structure match). Will be taking clones of Sour Diesel 2 Best and MMB going forward.
Heya @SWIM_Yenobi
I have read your whole thread
Lots of informations here
I love your growing style and process with your breeding project thank you et Bravo
Stonefarm Sour Diesel IBL Open Pollination Project:
I removed all of the seeds on the seed producing female. Not much longer now hopefully.
Thank You Everyone!
I have left, to focus on my plants and avoid drama.
But i happened to see you started this repro. I am glad for you my friend.
All good no worries, I’m just here to make seeds. I will make them and save a small selection for myself and I will still send you the rest. That was what we originally agreed.
Will be flowering everything Diesel this weekend.
09/02/24
Stonefarm’s- Sour Diesel IBL:
Will begin flower tomorrow (Sun. 09/01/24). I “Lollipopped the males and the female who had begun producing seeds
Bodhi’s- Snow Lotus BX1:
Will be transplanted to .5 gallon pots and feed RapidStart and EWC Microbe tea. Only 8/12 (66.7%~) made it to seedling. They seem rather weak but I will take care. Transplanting and encouraging root development are focused.
Sour Diesel Breeders/Keepers Run: I’m waiting for new 3 gallon fabric pots to arrive. Finished third Spinosad treatment today (No Pest), tent is clean, and plants fed.
Mothers:
-Permanant-
Gorilla Glue #4 Josey Wales Cut
[Top Dawg] Midtown Madness B
-Finally plant is in a healthy enough state to take clones from. I will take clones and choose the best one.
-Others-
[Top Dawg] Sour Diesel BX4 #6 (Needs Sinsemilla Run Test)
[Karma] Sowahh #5 (Needs Sinsemilla Run Test)
Stonefarm Project:
Since I have 6 males I will remove two every week starting with earliest dropping male, starting week 2. After initial pollination of pistils. I will run 6 weeks from last removal. 11-12 weeks of flower.
Stonefarm Sour Diesel IBL Project
Sour Diesel Breeder/Keepers
I’m gonna only run this project to seed maturity and just mix all pollen. Will pollinate GG4 Josey and MMB. Transplanted them to 3 gallon.
Testing
Started 4 pots of Super Lemon Haze (Franco’s) x Mexican
Gonna call it “Frank Lem’Mexze”
Hi @SWIM_Yenobi
I have a few questions:
How do you manage all the smoke tests and comparisons of smells, floral structure etc at the same time?
Photos of each plant and smoke test session with friends after curing with the photos? Mother’s flower compared to offspring?
I would like to know your way of doing things please?
It’s a headache to manage so many cuts and descendants at the same time without taking into account the space and the whole cutting side etc…
In any case, congratulations on the crazy work that it represents .
And if you have too much I’m here .
See you

I harvest the bud. Dry and cure with seeds in. I separate by using cloths pins on the drying lines that label what is what as separators. I can usually tell them apart by end of grow w/o. Then into labeled bags for cure that go into opaque rubber ware. I use a strainer to clean out seeds and I make sure to grab some choice buds for first seed straining of each #/Strain post cure. I smoke that in joints to test with a writing pad handy. I used to read these strain reports from Amsterdam Coffee shops when I was in high school so I try to emulate those but simplified.
I do a lot of research before and during a project and use archived references and photos from forums and other sources to assist. I like to grab multiple reports when possible but that can cause its own problems because environmental impact/terroir can modify expressions but generally only slightly from what I’ve seen but several outliers. I’m starting to just trust my instinct at this point.
I do take a lot of photos but I’m careful what to post. I only make seeds to trade or donate. I really like lineage and have spent a lot of time researching it. It’s a lot dude I just love cannabis and don’t want to get into it but yeah.
But, without getting into it too much. With the blending of traits, dominance, co dominance, ancestors inheritance, etc. it’s impossible to get a full picture imo. I generally feel as though I make seeds that need to be worked or hunted. I also try to simulate as much of an open pollination style as possible to preserve an entire expression possible profile. Selection is important so I choose keepers as a continuation point for later but for example I’m sure randomly the worst breeder labeled ones can produce the best. I used to have a research assistant job for a fancy plant project. I just like to keep things simple.
Keep the best and Cull the rest, preservation style.
There is a saying:
“If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants” -Issac Newton
I mainly do preservation stabilization type work currently and using gear from well domesticated lines.
Yeah, well done for the job .
Concerning the multitude of possibilities offered, it is clearly a plus for hunting unique plants which are above the rest, rather than having only one male for example which locks a whole bunch of recessive genes which were not previously still not released .
Finding the right males is the hardest part of the job but the smell is already a good indicator.
In short, I follow your culture carefully, it’s very interesting.
For smoke tests and everything else, don’t hesitate to post photos of the elected officials . It gives a vision of Your Sour even if it’s only visual it’s always a plus to see .
Regarding seed stocks… yeah we’re all on the same page . My old batches have catastrophic germination rates… Faults has poor storage with moving and lifestyle…and our problem of always making crossings… personally it’s 1 per year but my stocks are growing too quickly .
In short, I wish you lots of vibes for your growth . Hoping that everything is translated well
See you
