Otaku Jedi: Son of Tanavast

Yeah, well done for the job :ok_hand::ok_hand::ok_hand:.

Concerning the multitude of possibilities offered, it is clearly a plus for hunting unique plants which are above the rest, rather than having only one male for example which locks a whole bunch of recessive genes which were not previously still not released :green_heart:.
Finding the right males is the hardest part of the job :relieved:but the smell is already a good indicator.
In short, I follow your culture carefully, it’s very interesting.

For smoke tests and everything else, don’t hesitate to post photos of the elected officials :fire:. It gives a vision of Your Sour even if it’s only visual it’s always a plus to see .

Regarding seed stocks… yeah we’re all on the same page . My old batches have catastrophic germination rates… Faults has poor storage with moving and lifestyle…and our problem of always making crossings… personally it’s 1 per year but my stocks are growing too quickly .

In short, I wish you lots of vibes for your growth :green_heart:. Hoping that everything is translated well :green_heart:
See you

Also i would like to add the focus here is just preserving these for the community. Shoe said some nice things about that queen mother goji cut and a lot of people on here love goji and snow lotus. I thought itd be best to have these with someone who would actually run them.

Thanks for sharing your breeding projects with us all, I enjoyed reading the whole thread. Had to pause a few times so I had more likes to share.

There’s a lot of information and useful tips throughout, another inspiring thread IMHO. It’s always interesting to see how others do certain things and breeding projects are my favorite.

Being from Europe those sour diesels have something mythical about them so I will need to do a hunt through some seeds sooner or later.

I could not help myself and dropped a whole lot of my old seeds in some pots while reading through your thread. They are not sprouting reliably last 2 years but I unexpectedly got some others to sprout last days so there’s still some hope. If nothing happens soon I will be focusing on newer seeds for now.

Good luck on the snow lotus reproduction, I’ll be watching the progress :sunglasses:

Thank you very much. If you shoot me a message I’d be down to trade if you have anything. If not I can just send em. I’m getting low so last one till next run is done through everyone.

I wish you good luck on your grows bud.

Snow Lotus BX V1 + V2 Preservation Project

Snow Lotus Research
Surprisingly very little photo information available or journals. Primarily used as a Breeding Stud by Bodhi. There was a previous repo setup on here I used for my early structure ID and it’s similar. The male Bodhi used was provided from same thread by a member here (Below).

That you everyone.

I got 6/6 germination on these Snow Lotus Bx V2. Going to soak the rest tomorrow.

Not going to put up for Co-op. Too much stress I just want to do my own thing for now. I’m donating some packs for Co-op to balance it.

I received the Snow Lotus V2 from a trade on RIU.

If anyone did not get their Sour Diesel Seeds from the original 20 send me a message before I close this chapter.

Next Projects:
1.) Banana Project
Females- Hammerhead-Chiquita Banana S1, Symbiotic- Banana Punch, Jaws- Banana Kush F10 (2021), Nacho and El Sapo- Banana OG F3, Oro Verde- OG Banana King
(Feminized or will remove all males and unstable. Would bond to 24 plants)

Male- Modified Banana F2
(To guarantee that I can take this strain to F3.)
Looking for another pack. I got mine from Respect prior to split.)

2.) 1990s Black Widow Family from Shanti, Seed Embryo Rescue/ Monster Garden Kit. Open Pollination.
Last shot. About 50 seeds

Will do 2 first.

I keep telling my brain to stay in this journal and only like stuff. I’m working on it. I really want it this way.

Going forward everything I make will be kind of trade only. Only when someone ask me or an ISO post. A couple donations. Quite a few people I sent seeds to aren’t here anymore. It’s a pain keeping track of too.

What I’ll be looking for trade will be Landrace/Heirloom and Hazes. If the work I’m doing can keep me from spending money on seeds I’d be happy.

I’ve reread my journal, it feels quite messy so I will stay within a formula from now on. Plant updates only. No seed vault updates. No debates about clonestock (I’m keeping MMB and GG4, unless I actually drop them I will not mention it again.). No personal updates. Just plants, research, and project updates would be ideal.

Full updates coming this weekend. Saturday and Sunday will be my only update days going forward.

hi @SWIM_Yenobi

Always interesting to see how others germinate their old seed stock:+1::green_heart:.

For the rest in tissue culture Athena has a kit but not the means… too bad.

And by the way, you have done phyto studies etc. Do you think that the HLVd virus leaves after regeneration in tissue culture or does it stay whatever happens?

I read 2 versions and I would like your opinion . I understood that if a cut does not have several regenerations the virus was still present…
See you

You must do meristem tissue culture and test for the presence of the virus after regeneration.
