Got these from @gr0wn, and decided they’d go better in this thread than my other one.
Tall pheno on top, short on bottom. Came back to a really tall plant… had to start height training it. The short pheno looks nice. Filled out some slender leaves on the top. Buds are just starting on these, but went in for round 1 of pollination with some BlackDak/Black Afghani and Malawi/Panama on a couple branches.
MFW that grapefruit.
Glad I gave those to you, they are taaaalll, definitely would’ve been burnt in my setup haha. #1’s growth is pretty cool though, is that super cropping?
Yeah #1 is a total bean pole! It’s not quite super cropping. I bent down the main stem with wire, but didn’t fully flop it. A trick I picked up from @Olbrannon.
I actually did the same on #2, but it is much shorter and appears to be a different pheno. I like it.

Doing my regular balls and nanners check, and found a nanner just started to come out on this one. Hybrid leaves, hybrid structure, hybrid bud density, hybrid flower time. Wild Thai is not all that wild… I’ve grown a pure Thai seed I brought back myself. Growing a real wild thai indoors is an awful experience lol. This was pretty easy. Verdict: not even close to pure thai.
But she has a nice smell, pretty colors, small yield and frosty buds. Nothing terribly exciting, but a little better yield and smell than the seedsman jacks at least.

This seedsman Jack was definitely better than the other one. Still a pretty small plant with small yields. Slightly better branching on the bottom. Doesn’t smell like much right now. Ho Hum overall.
ON DECK TOMORROW: chop day for the grapefruit. Honestly one of the best seeds I’ve popped in a little bit.

How are Thai’s and Jacks done under 70 days???
The Thai is WoS Wild Thailand. They say 100% Thai sativa, but it’s not possible… at least not like any pure sativa I’ve seen. They say 75-85 days on their site. I probably would have let it go maybe to 75, but it popped out a nanner and I didn’t want to take any risks with other plants in my tent.
Seedsman jack says 63 days. The early pheno I had was even earlier than that. This one seemed to want to go a little longer.
Grapefruit is going to be spot on 70 days. Lower down the plant, the pistils aren’t orange, but the top cola is completely orange hair now. I think the crosses I made with it are going to be pretty insane. I have it crossed to Ace Malawi x Panama, Jungle Spice and CBG Durban. I want to try them all… the durban will be the most sativa dominant.
I will name Grapefruit x Malawi/Panama – Gma & Gpa.

Yea these Jacks are way more indica looking than Sannies. Who knows if they’re even really jack h. It’s just the free seeds you get from them when you buy lol. I’ve read that some seedsman strains are good, but I think they’re probably just rebranding from other people who make seeds for them.
I’ll offer up some testers when they’re all dry and ready to go. Not sure I’ll offer up any from the Jack H or the Wild Thai, because they don’t really make the cut for me. But if someone really wants the seeds, they’re at least going to be improved by the males.
I have run my last Jack. I like it, a lot in fact, but 13 weeks is too much, Sannies Jack goes SO HUGE AND PHATT mold is always an issue, and I now have Orange Goji, like it 3 times better to be honest. The Amnesia Haze is better than Jack, so is my RPP X ChemDog. OHGA will be better too I hope.
