That mixed with a sweetness that I have referred to as caramel like is what the PU F3 shit smelling in flowering turned into post harvest.
Did the F5 have the shit smell ?

No not at all. Smelled like wet wood and incense the entire time. Not real strong either. Have to put your face right in it or rub on it. (Thats what she said)

Interesting. What kind of wet wood ? Cedar smells very different from oak etc .

I’m smoking on some early cuts and it is fantastic! I’m actually getting a berry flavor in the smell and smoke, and I never smelled it in the grow much. The smoke is kind of spicy and dark berry tasting, and the high is pretty strong hybrid stone. I’m really digging it!
Here’s my review of the smells while cutting it.

i believe 9lb hammer is a tga subcool strain, i know a few of his strains have the “baby poo” smell. someone commented “human” shit in the purple unicorn, so probably not the same thing.

I still plan to make f6 of these. Gonna wait to cure and sample all 3 females and then choose my favorite or favorites to seed. I still have the male in the mom jungle. And i still have half a pack left to search through.

Im not too good at pinpointing smells. Especially different types of woods. Its not piney. Maybe cedar. Smells like wet 2x4s if that makes sense. Lol. Earthy and musky is in there too. A bit of hippy incensey smell too.
