From what I understand, the molasses does offer some nutrients, but it’s mostly to feed your bacteria and fungi so they can break down the soil nutrients better/faster and pass it to the plant. Same with compost teas, adding charged bacteria colony to work the nutrients in the soil. So does t using the molasses or teas with, or a day after your other nutrients seem to make more sense? Idk as I’ve only read about these, but the fert blend I use has several types of bacteria and fungi blended into it.

You are 100% correct in saying one of the main reasons it is used is to feed soil microbes and such. But it does actually also offer significant amounts of Potassium , Calcium , Iron , Magnesium , and zinc. I usually water the 7 gal pots with it at 1 TBS a gal when I first transplant into them , and then again around the 4th week of flowering at the same rate.
This is the brand I generally use.

For my outdoor container grows, I mix in dry flower nutes at final transplant, Then just supplement with liquid fish for nitrogen until flower. I throw on a top dress probably 3 or 4 weeks into flower.
And go careful on the molasses @schmarmpit , you don’t want your soil to start composting. Also, ants.

so i rubbed a stem of a purple unicorn just now, and it smells of “bubble yum” brand bubble gum, cotton candy flavor. i think that’s what it was…
a few days ago i transplanted them from solo cups in air pots. it’s been a while since i used air pots so i’m wondering how it will turn out. just using 0.8 gallon since they’re only being used for breeding and i have some 5.8 gallon for future use.
