Well Day 63 in flower. I think getting close. I have mostly milky trichs but no amber yet (at least that I can see), took some pics just at lights out. Been a crazy first grow with lots of mistakes and learning but honestly I think I am still going to have a decent harvest.
Wondering what you all think about these?
thanks again ;)image image image image image image

They look great. They are very close if not already there. Hope it is a good harvest.

Woah, great first run! You’ve showed great patience. I’d say you’re safe to chop her and be certain you will get very stoned.

Thanks everyone. I’m super excited to harvest. Just don’t want to take too early. It is hard to keep my hands off for sure. Once chopped, the curing will be next to try. Never cured before so this will be fun

If you can, monitor the RH in your drying environment, 40 ~ 50% is the sweet spot for me.
You will be OK with minor spikes to +60%.
Personally I like winter better as I can go very cool but you work with what you’ve got :sunglasses: :+1:

Thanks man I will for sure. My RH has been in that range so far. My tent is right beside my furnace in the house so it is nice and cool and RH is pretty stable. Kinda funny thing though, because the tent is sooooo close to the furnace and I have an air intake in the side of one of the ducts, it likes to suck up some of the smells from the tent and send it throughout the house. Believe it or not, the wife or kids haven’t given me much trouble about it. My next grow which I plan to start in a couple weeks, I will be moving the tent over to the other side of the room away from the furnace. This first time grow sure has been a blast! I have learned a lot and kept notes so I hope to improve the next round. Going to try soil again, different nutes (not sure what yet), build a led light and try a scrog for my first time. So next round will be only one or 2 plants.

First grow and didn’t kill 'em… That puts you about 2 sigma above the curve!
Congrats on that . Now you are hooked. :+1: :sunglasses:

No need to harvest at once either. Take some now, then in another week, then in another week. See if you can tell the difference between the different times. Enjoy!

I was hoping to dry in my tent. Wanted to take the light out (HPS) so I have more room and to keep temps down. Next round I was thinking about getting another tent so then I could pull some off here and there.

Do autoflowers sometimes never “finish”?

I planted six different auto strains on May 1st. Three of those were harvested a month ago while the last three are now 100 days old and still throwing white pistils. This morning I pulled sugar leaves from each and the trichomes are a mix of clear and milky when viewed under the microscope. No amber in sight. Autoflowers are usually quick to mature, and these last three aren’t long flowering strains (Afghani, NL, Blueberry x NL). The latter has massive buds but doesn’t show any signs of rot or mildew. Many of the leaves on the other two plants are yellow and some are quite crispy - I assume were caused by my newb mistakes with pH and nutrient levels - but I believe the buds would look nice if I trimmed them.

Since this is my first time growing autos I was curious if they could reach a point where the plant can no longer bring the flowers to a mature finish. I could give them a whopping dose of LITFA, but they are infringing upon my legal limit for number of concurrently flowering plants. Should I chop?

All plants will typically keep throwing a few new pistils everyone and then as a last ditch effort to get pollinated also some autos run longer . Just had a pineapple Express auto run over 100 days before chop… you got a closer shot of these ladies?
