I will, due diligence always!
is this right animal
Yes those are the Tropf Blumats that I am using. Not to be confused with the the Blumat Jr with work differently.
Alright cool, will study up.
Hit me up if you have any questions.
Much appreciated @ReikoX It looks like they’ve been working great for you and this grow.
I’ve built a six site auto watering system using drip spikes and inline regulators. It’s all ready to go but I’m always scared to start using it due to similar worries like @Oldtimerunderground .
That some kind of citrus tree?
That is from Blumat documentation.
lol, my bad! I saw the bark and got excited.
Look at them still working in the dark jeez hard working ladys. They look wonderful brother and look super frosty
Thank you very much @ReikoX , you are a special individual. Cheers!
Grass Fire OG in the notill beds finishing up at day 53. Looks like there will be a decent harvest here in a 7-10 days. Really just depends on when I find the time to cut these down during the holiday season. I think this time I’m going to dry for 3-4 days before freezing the product. The theory behind this is to get some of the moisture out so that the water doesn’t freeze and rupture the plant cells.
I need to bust out the microscope to check these trichomes. I am also going to do the jar test with these plants as well. If they look like they will wash well, then I will freeze it. Otherwise, I will just dry and jar it all. Flower rosin isn’t as good as hash rosin, but low hash yields are worse.
Have you ever dried and examined the bubble waste under a microscope?
Nope, I just toss it back in the beds to feed my next round. I didn’t do that last round though because I was afraid of spreading that HpLVd.
I have dried it and used it in edibles in the past. The bubble process only knocks off the capitate stalked trichomes leaving the bulbous and sessile trichomes intact. But you knew that.
Looking yummy !!!
Same kinda thought process on why potato plants and a few others should not go into the compost. I def think you made the right choice .
Hash rosin is where it’s at, super hard to want to make flower rosin. I feel like hash rosin keeps its taste the WHOLE time. Even after a reheat. Where as flower rosin starts to loose that taste after the first hit!
I like dry sifted hash, then I take the discard plant material and do a infusion in butter, coconut oil or olive oil for different edibles. If I had a vortex machine I would maybe do the water/ice hash making method. I find dry sift hash has more of the earth tasting hash from the early 80’s that I would get. Just my .02
For some reason at the co - op me and my plant material, pure flower full melt draw em in like bees to honey, just old school though, no kiddies.
Looking very nice @Astrodude !!! Wish I had some…
