Hey @ReikoX. How long have your times been averaging from seed to finish on your fans? Thanks bro. I’m gonna build a small trellis today. It’s out a control. Flowering nicely already.:call_me_hand:

So I have been using Megacrop on my mothers as it is a pretty decent veg nutrient. I used it in the past and at the recommended dosage of 5-6 grams per gallon. Turns out a teaspoon is about 6.5 grams or so. Somehow I got it in my head that it was a tablespoon. So I wanted to give a lower dose and since there are three teaspoons in a tablespoon, I used two teaspoons. Something wasn’t right, and I’ve been fighting issues, so I decided to take an EC reading. It read 4.2 EC! That’s like 4x as much as I wanted to go. So I diluted it to 1.3 EC and 5.9 pH and gave them a feed.

During this time I lost four mothers including Juanita. I managed to save a clone of her.

After seven days, 4/8 of the Gas and Guns testers are up. I put them in their final containers (solo cups).

The other four I will give some time. I bet I would have had more come up if I had them on a heat mat.

Another MegaCrop casualty

Sorry to hear @ReikoX as you know a few of us have been struggling with MegaCrop recently. I fear those spikes you’re seeing would/could have been caused regardless of your dosage. I’m finding crazy buildups around the edges of my pots which end up getting wicked back up into my plants and also end up in the 4k EC range.

I find it isn’t happening until the bottom of the package as well
I think that has alot more to do with it than just the formula as well

Man that sucks but at least you have a living clone.

see when you have something like this in the comments regardless of pictures I hate just hitting the like button
Sorry for your loss. Sincerely. I think I lost one to either TMV or pH swing or Septoria I feel for ya

.

He said he didn’t properly follow the directions. Can’t blame it on Megacrop

Hmmm have to remember to shake the pkg up once a week or so while it is closed of course

What I do is make a strong liquid solution up with megacrop in hot water to ensure it de solves properly then add a little of that solution to water until I get the desired ppm/e.c level.

Yeah this was all on me and my fault memory. Honestly, I’m suprised they lived as long as they did. It happens, in the end I only lost Grass Monkey, and maybe Jilly Bean. I have a sickly Jilly Bean cut in the cloner I may be able to nurse back to health. I have another pack of Grass Monkey so no real loss there either

I repotted both my cuts and they may come back
we will see. One I had to dig away half the root ball to find anything left. Not sure either make it. It’s the only ones I have left of Wicked Widow. I have a cross from her but
or will if the seeds are good.

Butter Cookies testers at day 37. Turned the lights to 12/12 for a couple days, then back to 18/6. Usually this will make them show preflowers within a week.

Since @ReikoX asked I’ll show it
what has been concluded as a last ditch effort to procreate my dark fam sprouted some nanners on the very, very bottom, no other signs but picked it off and moved on with growing

Asked me as well, i checked cause of what toast came across, but ill say this just looks like a last ditch survival tactic on the plant and only showed on a single and lowest “false” node, i usually pinch this off earlier but this one grew out.

Non viable though. It was the Ghost Toof #1 x Sugar Black Rose for reference

Otherwise a beefy feeling abit rough looking plant, but that was due to nute issues. Zero concern.

Curious if early pollination of a single bud might send an “all good” to a plant and avert its last ditch impulses.

I know you’ve gone through this stuff plenty @ReikoX but

If I was to take some elruv pollen(auto) and put some onto some photo plants. Obviously wouldn’t make it auto but what traits do autos tend to carry onto photoperiod plants? So like would there be possibilities of faster finishing, budding under 18 hours light etc. In offspring ofc like I don’t think putting auto pollen in my photo will make it finish any quicker or any of that weird shit :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
