You can make your own lids kinda like flora flex. Use the bottom of an over sized pot, leave a 1 inch lip, the use metal stick of some sort, heat it up, press in and pry up? Repeat?
Tomorrow I’ll cut some clones for the next grow. I think one of the strains will be Chron Don Genetics “Burn Out.” It is one my my oldest mothers. A few months ago the plant was going south so I cloned a v2 mother, and it has grown really strong. The strain gave big, pinkish colas. I can’t remember what the parents are, but I think one of them is Alien Fire Kush. The terps were very berry.
Aside from that I’m not too sure. Maybe Canarado’s “Supreme Snowman.” It was maybe the most genetically uniformed strain I’ve ever hunted. I have 3 mothers, but I’m not sure why because they all turned out pretty much the same. I’ll run on or two of each and figure out my favorite to keep. I want to further reduce the mother plant count, but it’s a slow process.
I can’t use a floraflex type tray because the Growtek’s flow rate is too high. I just something that will prevent an emitter from spraying all over the place or power washing all of my coco away.
Not even just open ended? Like no emitter, just the hose running into the tray.
It comes out hard. I could probably use flow rate reducers, but then I wouldn’t really need the trays. It’s only a 6" surface. Maybe I should look at different emitters first.
I just read the Pulse is planning on releasing an outlet soon, so the moisture sensor will be what triggers my watering cycles. At that point I’m going to get rid of the Growtek computer and wire up the watering pumps to the outlet. Then it will behave similar to Bluemats. This is the main reason I bought the Pulse Hub.
That’s realllly cool. You make me want more toys for my new coco setup I haven’t even used.
It’s partly because the technology is cool, but it’s also partly finding another system because Growtek shutdown and I have to pay a yearly fee to use the third party app that controls everything.
The app sucks anyway. It was my first complaint after buying the system. I assumed it would be much more customizable. Instead of setting up specific times to water, it is on a minute cycle. So instead of picking like “12pm / 3pm / 9pm” it is every 30 or 60 or 120 ect ect minutes. And the entire system has to be on a timer to turn it off during the night or it would just keep watering every half hour or whatever.
The flow rate was my biggest issue though. I like a nice slow watering. If you water too fast the the coco starts to settle and clog. If it gets bad the water will sit in a puddle on top of the coco and it takes forever to finish.
I figured it out. I used coco mat to defuse the water. Tomorrow I’m going cut out pieces to fit the pots better and secure the hoses, but this was the test version.
Nice idea with the coco diffuser mat. So you are going to put a piece of that under a “lid” made from the bottom of a few pots?
Nah, there’s no need really. This should work fine.

16oz should hold about an ounce and a half of flower, maybe 2.
That looks like one of the Alexa speakers that my dad is always shouting at.
“ALEXA WHAT THE FUCK IS A HUSKY HUT?”
Yes it’s a complete sentence.
16oz of beans takes of a fair amount of space. I usually buy 12oz bags. You could probably hold around an oz of bud in there. Again, I’m horrible at guessing that sort of thing though.
Oh nevermind, I totally misread your bud capacity estimation. You’re probably right.
