ROCKS! Any like rocks or gems?

Knowing me, I’d be trying to use that dinosaur poo as fertilizer

What’s that cross section in the third picture?

I’m not sure, I’d have to ask my daughter

I’ve always loved rocks even if I don’t know exactly what they are.

Second last picture has a really cool structure, reminds me of bismuth crystals.

I was told it’s a salt and to keep it away from humidity. Found more of the collection. My wife decorates with them so finding them is always like an Easter egg hunt. The copper wires are lights

This is one of my favorites “fibrous malachite”

Changes from green to black depending on the light

Anybody have any idea what this is found at the beach always thought it might be fossilized fish eggs or some other sea creature. Each little ball has what looks like quartz in them.

These are polished coral fossils, looks like one to me. That’s awesome!

Anybody got the plug on a rock tumbler that isn’t as loud as a jet aircraft and won’t break or leak midway through first use? Asking for a little kid

I look at fossilized coral but can’t find any with crystal center. The crystal-quartz center is what makes me think eggs here is a pic of fossilized frog eggs and a pic of fossilized dinosaur eggs with Crystals. I

Yes, likely…
Sounds like you need a rock tumbler to see what you have.

It’s obvious that they’re all agates.
So, how long would it take to tumble a coffee can full of agates?
And if they were all agates, what would be an approx value?

With any type of gemstone there are a lot of factors that can determine price. It’s nearly impossible to tell until you get them polished up. If it’s good crystals then tumbling will decrease value

Smithsonite Aragonite; polished with an alternative shape. (4" x 3")

I keep it under my computer screen as it looks like a sky’s view of the Caribbean sea
