Looking gorgeous! I always feel like itās a good sign when they get frosty all over even the sugar leaves.
Little bit wondering now whether removing the fan leaves increases thatā¦
Chernobyl baby lookinā nice and Minty
I always take a lot of leaves, but I donāt always get this much frost. Iām going to attribute it to genetics.
I do love when they are covered in sparkle.
Day 89 looking delicious.
Chernobyl doing ok. Iām going to test the water, itās not growing like I like. And the baby SLWTCPP doing sprout stuff
Beautiful. looks all cloudy. Autos donāt amber up like photos do. Absolutely sparklyā:heart_eyes:
Godspeed ,little squiggy! ( SLWCTPP is no name for a youngun).
Excellent work, my friend. Got me SUPER excited to see how mine finish up! Some damn fine genetics
Huh.
I never realized this. Iāve been thinking maybe I take my plants too early.
Same! I resorted to a partial harvest test when I was starting out (autos). One cola every week off the same multi-branched plant for 4 weeks. Then a smoke test. Mum liked it best at the just barely all cloudy stage. Iāll see a few gold trichomes on the sugar leaves, but only maybe 5%.
Iāve left some auto buds making seed for 6 weeks after fertilizing post-harvest, Iām pretty sure those all went gold but she tried the finger hash off them and potency was half or less what it had been - a drop from maybe 20%thc to smoking a pea sized ball of finger hash and hardly feeling it.
Then I harvested most of my first photoperiod crop too early because I went for the same indicator. So yeah, I think itās a thing. I left some photoperiods to mature last time, and they stayed in the cloudy with a tiny bit of amber stage for weeks getting fatter. They just arenāt in a hurry like autos.
Looking great my friend.
I think the most common harvest window for the Scarlet Grapes is D85-95. But yeah, Phil went the distance. And Iāve taken at day 73.
As for the amber subject. Yes, autos are weird like that. Iāve had autos showing little to no amber around my proposed harvest time. Them boom! 50% overnight lol. This is also a possibility.
Iām about to chop this plant down.
Iāve decided to get a cannatrol. I got a bonus at work and Iām going to spend it on weed toys. I lost a beautiful Jilly Bean x white widow to mold and I was so, so pissed. So once I make it out to the shop I think Iāll chop the one.
The other is obviously slower, but is stacking up nicer. It needs at least 2 more weeks. Itās barely done throwing pistols.
Lucky you!
My wife would likely kill me.
I am the wife
Oh yeah. Duh.
I have such a hard time remembering the smaller number of female regulars around here.
Thanks for the reminder!
Autos will keep throwing new pistols if they are getting too much ferts or too intense light. Guilty of both. I go mostly cloudy on autos. Love the structure on yours.
I wondered about this as well because they do seem to throw pistols for.ever.
Iām glad you said this, Iāve been āwait and seeā about my late flower nutes and that helps me make a decision. Iāve got something to try now for my next grow.
The lighting is still a shroud of mystery. I think they are too high, but maybe no? Lights have always been my big challenge indoor growing
Mostly I see pistols forever, but a few such as my favorite BB#3 plant have done one enormous flush of pistils and thatās it. I fertilize, remove all flowers, give good light, and they just fold up and croak without making me a single seed. Others Iāve had throw not just pistils but a whole new branch or two.
Cannatrol is scheduled to be delivered Wednesday! Iāll chop at least the one then. Iāll have to take another look at the second. I suppose as long as it can wait 8 days it will give the first time to dry them I can swap plants.
I super excited about the Cannatrol, Iāve heard nothing but rave reviews. Very ready to simplify the dry and cure process.
Hm was the cannatrol? They sound sick!!! I need
You really havenāt read this?
