Seed Run Co-Op Bodhi F2 DBHP - Give Away Has Ended

Neat stuff! By the way, I meant the origin of the actual bleeding trait. Must have been some freak jungle plant 5,000 years ago or something :palm_tree:

He as in me or someone else?

The seeds arrived from @OrganicGorilla in this packaging

Says 5 seeds though were 10 combining 2 packs. 7 sprouted…6 boys and 1 girl. Having only 1 girl, I wanted to see what each of the 3 “bleeding” boys brought to the table. Finished breeding boys #1 and #2 though only packaged up seeds from boy #1 and am running them now…the small ones as I was only going to check sex ratio’s (4 girls out of 10) and for bleeders though managed to squeeze them in next to the bigger girls (clones of #3) that I was growing out to use boy #7 for. The plan was to keep them separate and watch the seeds being grown out like lefthandseeds did though that all has since changed.

The mother of the seeds distributed - 1st 5 wks

The father of the seeds distributed - 1st 5 wks

Getting their groove on

Momma heavily seeded

4 of her clones just before being pollinated with Boy #2…these seeds have not been distributed

@MomOnTheRun I meant the ones pictured above that I received from BPS. The ‘Greasy Strangler’ is CVK x (dbf4xhp)f2

while the freebies are (dbf4xhp)f3

Eidt: I don’t know when i would even get to those. I am interested in this though.

Must be learning the lingo then. I have in mind some changes that will accelerate my pace. But have to be careful to many plates in the air is not good. And there’s all these new possibilities of late it’s becoming more difficult to choose. And frankly Mom you have to shoulder responsibility for your part in that

Your doing great! Was just giving you a hard time…every fall, I run through the strains I have and put them in a list of priority though more often than not something else will catch my eye or someone says, you have to run these and my “plan” for the year goes out the window - So many strains, so little time to run them

That pack came from Pistils on Breedbay. He used to split Bodhi packs and sell 5 bean packs.

Let me know if you have pollen from a bleeder male also. Idk how I feel about pollinating in my setup and outside would probably make the neighbor mad. If I do find one though I may just say F it and let him loose. I like that it’s kinda simple in that I can look for blood for a couple generations then start looking for a distinct characteristic. Makes a simple breeding idea because I’m new to all of this.

Thank you @OrganicGorilla

I was playing around with the idea of a back cross though after a few breeding strategies sunk in a bit more, I think its better to keep moving forward f2 x f2 = f3, f3 x f3 = f4 etc. making your selections after a bud run so its uniquely yours. Plus a great learning opportunity  Collecting pollen from males seems daunting though is fairly easy with a small 6" clone that can be stuffed just about anywhere with just a light (no fans) and a spray bottle of water to kill the pollen keeping it at bay.

With that said, I do have a couple Tb’s from boy’s #1 and 2 for a potential cross with another strain sometime down the line with the right strain. Ideally a 2 way cross like say, DBHP boy #1 x Hawaiian Snow, DBHP boy #2 x Hawaiian Snow and Hawaiian Snow x DBHP to see which gives better F1’s in the cross for desired traits then work towards inbreeding it to find and set them for a couple generations then do a giveaway for others to try per Bodhi’s request… the challenge will be finding the right strain though 1st I personally need to run DBHP a few times to see what the girls are going to be like as it really was a disadvantage having only 1 girl

I have 3 out of 4 with tails at 24 hours. Good job on the seeds. These seeds are tiny. Not a knock on anything just observation from all the seeds I now have. Thanks to the people here. The SSDD were bigger but some pale ones. And I have a skywalker og seeds that are huge.

Awesome!!! They do seem small though I have seen smaller

The important thing is that they grow into a plant :stuck_out_tongue:

This one has no description. I seem to remember reading that the Hawaiian Sativa Male in question was Maui Wowee.
if I can find the reference and at least confirm that I will link the source.

Whelp, its been a bit since I have done an update…

F2’s…they really want a larger pot

The big girls…stacking up nicely and starting to develop trichomes all over

The sip girls…copper spots haven’t spread so the Bordeaux mix is working :stuck_out_tongue:

The growing tomato plant…she is due to transplant into the soil - just gotta do it

and last but not least, a side view of the 3x3x8 cabinet to see everyone’s orientation
