So far I’ve tried three moms and they were all good smoke. My plan is to toss seeds from any that aren’t great before making the next generation. There’s only a couple of doobies worth of smoke for each plant; barely enough to test. But plenty of seeds. I estimate I’ll get 150 or so seeds per plant. But I’ve already collected a bunch of seeds and will post a wiki a week from today, so tell all your friends!

So is it just a bad yield or is it just bad weed in general, IE low terps, low thc and low yield?

Nah, the Cap Junky is just one of those hyped strains, just not very good.

My best strain currently is Cap Junky. I had one of the original clones and when I saw the seeds were no longer available to purchase anywhere I decided to do a seed run and make a bunch of S1 seeds.

I chose this strain because it checks all the boxes, and I know that’s cliche but it’s true. The plant grows beautifully, handles any and all training you wish to put it through. It is an above average yielding plant with hard, dense (heavy) nuggets that are covered in trichromes.

Caps junky is indeed a fine cookies cut. Great bag appeal with decent flavor. Sooo much better than most cookies. Wish I could source the cut, but she is super common at my dispensary so I’ve sampled her from several growers now. Totally not bunk

Waiting on confirmation from my guy. FJ would be my guess, although he’s passed me things that came from Wonderland Nursery before so I’m not sure.

That was my first run of a very small plant and this is my second.

Correction: for now it goes back to a cat named Zepilot , I’ll keep pulling the thread to see how far back I can go.

IME a lot of it comes down to expectations, the cookies derivatives and most of the polyhybrid indica dom 8 week cultivars are meant for hash but paraded around like it’s flower worth smoking b.c silly consumers think more dense, frostier and visible trichomes automatically means more potent medicine

I did everything right, i know how to grow, on the same grow i had a beatiful Slurricane #7 S1:

Same medium, same everything. The plant got so lenghty (capjunky) and the buds were tiny as hell. Its geneticly, not ur fault, not my fault. Please.

I know SAN liked it, because it smelled like vanille i believe he said? But maybe i had bad luck, i just had 1 plant tho.

It was super frosty tho, that is for sure! I thought about the virus that is going around maybe… I cannot say anything about the bud jet.

Smell is nothing special on the bud i have.

That was the capjunky on flowering day 20 the lenghy one.

I even said, San grew that plant, and he loved it… Maybe i got a seed that was just bad. Like i said, i popped 1 single seed. u gifted me 5 seeds, why the hell should i try to offend u? Doesnt make any sense to me. But i dont bother to try it out once more, i didnt like it. It was just bad… Why the fuck should that offend you?

No - i dont know what u think iam all about. I give seeds away, i trade a bit here and there, i get few gifts.

I gifted like 10k seeds to 2 big european resellers, they include the seeds with every order, i gave away like 50 letters of headbanger + more.
