Got this cool little pelican case inside a mini fridge.

All the seed packs I got from you were on the top so the Cherry west probably shifted as I was closing and BAM. Crack-snap-pop.

There are 5 puck males, and 5 puck females.

The males are doing their thing already.

Would anyone be able to assist me with when I pull the males out of the tent? Is it when most of their pollen sacks have opened? Appreciate the help.

This Chem^3 was real unhappy, so I knew it was transplanting time.

Sadly, the roots weren’t fully developed.

I still transplanted since the plant needed it, and transplanted a few other seedlings. It looks like none of the seedlings have roots growing out of the stalk I buried

image

I’m hoping this transplant gives the plants enough time to fill in their container a bit better.

There’s one Chem with 3 heads, I named it Cerberus.

It’s tough to see, but yeah. I’ll post pictures of it as it gets bigger and more obvious.

Awesome. I just wanted to make sure that you had them refrigerated for long-term. Good on you! You will thank yourself for that down the road. Or better yet, will not be kicking yourself for not haha.

What is your goal? Just an open pollination of the Puck Bc3? Also, did you flip the males and females to 12/12 on the same day?

Is this a Chem^3? Either way, dope name. Positive vibes…

Yessir, Chem^3 named Cerberus. Should be fun watching it grow.

Just open pollination to make some more seeds. All plants were flipped on the same day, except a female plant that was flipped a day or two later.

Oh don’t you worry Señor Nugzz, I’ll be kicking myself no matter what.

Hell yeah. I’m along for the ride.

I tend to flip my males around a week or so after my females, just so the females are deeper into flower and have more pistils, thus allowing the male(s) to be culled sooner. BUT there are so many fucking ways to make seeds and whatever way suits whoever is making the seeds is the best way.

What day of 12/12 are you on? I prefer to pollinate around 3-4 weeks. Again, just my preference.

I know the feeling all too well haha. Positive vibes…

First, I want to thank @Fuel for his help with the pucks. I posted a thread here asking about dark orange necrosis spots on the male plants. That thread can be found here. I was also given some awesome advice for breeding, which I will follow on my next seed run.

I believe the issue that occurred was not properly shaking my B-52 bottle, which caused a gnarly potass burn on all the males, and some of the females. Here they are today:

The two in the back were fed with a different feed that was mixed the next day. Same quantities as the feed that burned the rest, but this time, I shook all the bottles diligently. I was very concerned at first believing I had just burnt those as well. It’s been a few days since then however, and they’re looking great.

Yesterday, I decided to empty the B-52 bottle since I could hear particles inside when shaken. Sure enough, there were lots of clumps inside. After flushing the healthy plants, E/C came in at ~6, while the burnt plants’ E/C was ~12. That B-52 bottle has been thrown out.

I’m going to continue to flush the burnt plants until runoff is closer to the healthy plants and then feed only Connoisseur Base A and B. I’m hoping the seeds aren’t affected, though I understand that a healthy mother = healthy seeds. Way she goes.

The Chem Cubed and Sour 13 were transplanted into 1 gals and will be switched to flower in the next few days.

Here’s Cerberus doing its weird shit:

The 4x8 plants aren’t going to make it to four months of veg.

I’ve begun to do a pre-flower defoliation, and will flip them whenever I finish and take clones. This should hopefully be in the following days, which means I’ll have my hands full.

You found me a growlog to read while i rest from my total rebuilding of the space ^^ I want to know the story behind this breeding space :face_with_monocle:

These Puck’s got me feeling down. It seems to me like they’re worsening, and 1 of the healthy plants is quote on quote bugging out.

I flushed them all twice, including the healthy ones. E/C from run-off was lowered to ~3, and pH rose to ~5.3. I then re-introduced base nutrients alone. I’m going to keep a close eye on them, but I feel like I screwed the pooch with these girls.

Oh damn, hard hit. Are they all pollinated and on the go ? I mean, no more males to welcome again ?

Yessir, all the males have been removed and they’re just doing their thing. They’re definitely on the struggle train now, maybe I’ll limp past the finish line.

I just chucked all my Advanced Nutrients too. Sadly, I watered my 4x8 with them. AN had sent me a replacement bottle of Bud Factor X and of Bud Ignitor since I sent them an email with pictures of the gunk I had found inside. Turns out the new bottle of Factor X I got from them was also bad. I’m done with them.

Thanks hermano,

I know right? This Skelly HP does not want to collaborate! lol

Law of Murphy they say. In seeing the gunk, i understand more the state of the plants now. At least, we got a lead at first but hard to imagine the shot they got this way.

Considering your answer on pollen, the identity of the cullprit, and the plants … you have a radical card to play. Switching the plant on 24/0 (zero night is important) and going on a reveg with a light nute scheme full of N and very well oxygenated. Don’t use zym and fulvic acid until you got low EC on drain, it can destroy all hopes.

Sound weird but it can save your plants, then your seeds. Your luck in your unlucky round is the timing of your early pollination. The state of the plants permit this trick. It will take weeks, but the seeds will continue to be build in 24/0 while the plants are “revegging”. It don’t affect much the germination rate.
Don’t remove any leaf even if it’s 80% fryed, wait the new disformed shoots to prune/clean.

Last hope trick ^^, but you have a journey in front to bring back the medium to decent levels.

So I would technically leave them in veg while the seeds continue to develop? Would I just have to check for seed development to know when to harvest or after a few weeks would I switch back to flower and let them flower out? Also, would flipping to reveg at this point have a chance of herming the plants?

Exactly yes, let them reveg and let the seeds finish like that. Don’t turn back to flo (except if you want to flower them after the harvest of seeds, it’s possible too).

Yes, like any normal case. But if they turn herm, it was hardcoded before. So it don’t change much for the seeds. Except the proof in the cake that they are from hot mothers. You just reveal it this way, seeds got the code way before and it’s done since the ovary was taken.

I see. My only other option is to let them go and see if they survive? I’m going to let them sleep tonight and will look at them in the morning. If the situation is looking grim, I’ll flip them to 24/0.

Howdy y’all,

I’ve been fairly distant from the garden, but I’m getting back in the saddle of things.

The 4x8 is currently quite overgrown. It needs lots of defoliation.

I’ve already began defoliating with La Chola

The two plants in the back corner that seem unhappy are Gina and Holly, I’ve been battling having to feed them at different intervals than the other plants, but I caved in today.

The 2x2 plants look as bad as ever. I personally give them props, as I believe they could be looking way worse.

I found some males in the 4x2

I fuckin’ killed em’.

7 Females remain, including 1 Sour 13.

Including this Chem>3.
