If you end up hitting it with any pollen I am interested! Hit mine, but very late. Hoping a few of the beans are viable and I see this again.

Ok, It started with this runty Runtz from a S1 seed, that had whorled phyllotaxy at the beginning of its life and was a slow grower at first. It seemed to normalize, then it began to have its leaves fingers twist around. They were usually turning towards the center finger of the leaf. I tough this could be from a ph issue but it had continued with the plant growing in organic soil and only fed with organic teas. As time went by it began to flower and shortly into flowering it grew male flowers. Which I was late to pull. It pollinated many of my grow last year. I removed it from the grow and after it continued to make male flowers, I cut it down early. I got some seeds from the accidental pollinating, one of which was freakshow that was from fem seed too. I have grown one of the seeds from this mix and the offspring also have this leaf twisting effect that I’m guessing may be a mutation that effects how the plant reacts to ph or just an oddity in itself.
Here is the runty Runtz showing whorled phyllotaxy.

More weird mutation.

The growth seemed to normalize until the first leaves twisted on the runty Runtz.

The leaves continued to twist even in organic soil with organic teas.

Then I saw the male flowers on herm for the first time.

This is the Freakshow x Runtz offspring with the same twist in organic soil.

Even now the Freakshow x Runtz is still twisting.

I have had many hollow stems, it’s not a sign if being sick.

Some will say hollow stems are a Calcium deficiency.

I have also heard that high nitrogen or potassium can cause it. Also heard genetics. I just wouldn’t go as far as to say it was sick.

This kind of makes sense to me. Most of my stems are hollow when I cut the plants down. I don’t use a calmag as I figure my tap water contains enough calcium so I just supplement the mag with Epsom

Mother natures work my friend, open pollinated AK48’s from last year. I just kept the deer and pests away, she did the rest.
