So a couple days ago my dog ate a couple leaves off my seedling and now it’s not doing so well my buddy told me it was from my soil I was using it’s was not the right type and that I should support it with something so I followed his opinion and did that as you can see below but my question is will this little one make it I got fox farms soil now and a plant growth additive from the local store but I just don’t know if this guy is going to make it I water it twice a day nothing has changed except the fact my dog at a couple leaves off it
That looks over watered to me. There’s even drops of water clinging to the pen. I’d say give it some LITFA (common product around these parts… leave it the fuck alone) and see what happens.
Agree…plant is drowning
Ok so we won’t water it for a couple days and we will see how it does it’s only wet cuz it’s just got done raining here where I am
That size plant in that much soil should go several days between watering. It will vary depending on your environmental conditions. I don’t know if it will come out of that, a few day will tell. As #ChronicMcBudz said LITFA and just wait and see
I’m not sure how wet the soil is but it looks very wet…
You don’t want to disturb the roots at all…but perhaps get a fork and gently scrape the soil up a bit around the edges it will dry a
little quicker…
Okay so I pressed against the soil gently and it felt snot really wet just damp so I it’s not as wet as it looks also I just moved it into some fresh soil to hope that would help so that’s why it probably looks a little more damp then it should
Good advice in the post above. We are trying to help
No I know it’s nothing but knowledge man I honestly appreciate it cuz I don’t know what I’m doing in some parts
If you’re using Fox Farm soil that has already nutrients I don’t know if soil will be too hot while adding that plant growth additive you mentioned, plant looks real dark green …
I was going to ask about it also. I would say just go with tap water for a couple weeks. I have never grew with tap water so don’t know much about it but I have seen many times it needs to set 24 hours to get the chlorine out. Could that also be an issue?
I have my own well water
Ok so I will just go with some good old tapp in a couple days but for right now I’m going to let it dry and see how it does
Yeah I’m going to have to agree with everyone and say overwatering. Also the plant looks to small for the pot. Probably shouldn’t have transplanted already. Definitely th give it more than a couple of days before you water again though. A plant of that size wont drink all that water that soil is holding in a couple of days. Like all these cats are sayin leave it alone and just see
Make sure you let the chlorine evaporate off and make sure you balance that ph!!
Ya just straight water for now and honestly that shouldn’t need to be watered for like 5-10 days. Gotta make her want to seek out water by putting some roots down!
when Small I Use a Water Bulb and Keep a Eye on It so it Only Takes what it Needs until Roots are Ready…
Let your soil dry out almost all the way before watering again. The only help you could possibly give it now and I don’t want to tell you this because you really shouldn’t be messing with it . Take a pencil or a small stick poke holes in your soil to help evaporate air.
Makeep sure it have 18 hours of light 6 dark every day or 12 and 12 for flower . That has to be constant.
I wouldnt feed it until you see the small first set leaves start to yellow .
very easy to over water a seedling in a large pot of soil
all the best
Dequilo
Agree with everybody. Its been over watered.
Bit of advice dry fingers. And dig a bit into the soil. If soil is on your fingers when you pull it out its most likely got enough water.
Or
Get another pot of the same size and fill it with soil. Feel the weight of it and thats what the weight should be when she hungry
Better to under water then over its harder to get the moister out.
Keep us posted. Hope she makes it
