I have a 315 CMH and a “1000W” LED that I’m sure isn’t even close to an actual 1000w but has also done pretty good for me. All the plants except the Pennywise have been under both lights within their lives. You should have some pretty good results with the 600 w HPS, just prepare to deal with the extra heat depending on your setup!

Ok little update, and a lazy one at that 
Pennywise is flourishing. Feels like it got an inch or two taller overnight. She needs some defoliation and possibly soon enough some extra training.
Speaking of training the Pennywise is getting fresh in her teenage years! She popped the one tab right off the clip. It was just dangling.
Ghost Rose has darkened everywhere but the trichomes. Just waiting to see some ambers still. She could probably come down today and be good smoke but I like at least 25% amber.
This morning for the first time I fully swapped tents. The CT and GR have been switching places every day but I was looking at the Lavender Frosting and even though it’s nowhere near the light it looks like it’s not digging it. Slight clawing has continued so I said screw it and decided to put it under the LED with the CT.
After swapping them out I’m REALLY tempted to keep them swapped which would mean flipping the Pennywise. Kind of torn on it. If I leave it under the CMH and flip it should get a week or two more of veg during the transition under a stronger light. Then again at this point I may reveg the CT so that throws a wrench in the works if I do. Meanwhile the Chocolate Thai is at 13 weeks today and there’s not a brown hair on the entire plant. She’s also fattened up even within the last week.
So the breeder’s estimate of 10-12 weeks was either from actually flowering (rather than flip), he has some skill I don’t (very possible), or the training or ph issues I’ve had slowed her down more than I realized.
