@SmknCanuck. I have a question for you about your flowering procedure and this is really for anyone. I haven’t sprouted regs since 2011. My problem is that i don’t want to put my plants in flower in the 1 gallons and then have to transplant into the 10 gallon bags once i know which ones are the females. I feel like it would shock the plants too much. How are you doing it? I’m thinking of transplanting and then luck of the draw. Males will be put into their own tent. I don’t need the males in 10 gallon bags though. I could keep them in a one gallon. Just seems like a lot of pointless rehoming…

Hey bro nice to see you and thanks for stopping by.Normally i would transplant them from the 1gal bags to 3gal or 5gal a week before i flipped them.However this run i am flowering this batch in the one gallon bags as i want Christmas bud and some seeded branches…I will be taking 3 cuttings from each female in the tent,the 2 best of each will go in 1gal fabric pots as mom donors to get more cuttings and the others when rooted will go into flower in 1gal poly bags.I do not need to grow huge plants if i fill my 4x8 tent with 1gal bags i can fit a ton in and still get a great over all yield…
If i wanted to grow monster bushes in 5 or 10gal pots i would transplant now and veg them another 4 or 5 weeks then flip…As you can see in my pics even in the 1gal bags they are filling my tent nicely for a 30day veg period and 1 day of 12/12
I have 45 photo periods waiting to sex,it be a waste of time and soil for me to uppot them all.I know i can still get a nice yield from each plant in the 1gal containers.IF done correctly you can transplant into a 10gal pot with little to no stress i have done it many times.Just let the pot your plant is in dry out so the soil pulls from the side of pot it will slip right out then.If you follow my transplant guide you should have no issues

I don’t know how you feel about bottled nutes. I’m am organic snob lol. I picked up the Cyco pro kit at grow generation for $80. I got it to try hydro because my wife was interested but i think it’s a fairly good deal. If anyone had used these and they suck please chime in.

I am a soil grower always have been.Tried hydro a couple of times but was to much work and thought for me…
I used organic Earth Juice for years…Now i am using an organic phytophlankton and promix organic fert…for bloom i am using the phytophlankton with foxfarm beastie bloomz and molassess

Just arrived home with all the new lights.Whats cool is each Toly light came with a digital temp/rh and a digital timer and a pair of polarized glasses…When i bought the 3pk of Tolys off amazon it only came with one of each…

Wowzers just took a couple of digital timers to the tent for the lights coming on.The growth rate for 2nd day of 12/12 is crazy.At the rate they are going its going to get real crazy…
Keeping my eyes on OH#8 looked like balls forming when alternate branching started,one of the MWCB looked like it had tiny pistols when alternate branching started.If a 1/3rd or at least 15plants do not turn out to be male it will be a night mare.May have to ready a 3rd closet ,thank heavens i have lots of extra lights now…Funny how when you want males you do not see alot,yet when you hope for females you get tons of males lol.Will take pics later tonight when i do a thorough inspection,right now i need to eat have a nap and get baked

Just about to start their 3rd sleep cycle of 12/12.The growth rate is crazy.Definitely getting one closet finished today and will move 15 into the closet under 6 sets of 1000w equivelant Leds to continue flowering.When sexed all females will be in the tent snd males confined to the closet.Need to split up the plants now and give them more space for the stretch to fill.
The smells and aromas are really starting to hang in the air.With 10 strains growing i catch whiffs of almost every scent imaginable,

The cuttings from the RugburnOG and SourTangie are showing root bumps and their first little roots.Still lovely lush and green

The 2 auto fem N.L first pic this one is on 3rd set of leaves and starting to grow.The 2nd pic is the one that got sucked up with the dirt in the humid jar that ripped it out the soil damaging the taproot.Its trying to grow its 3rd leaves but seems stunted.we will see what happens

Well i got one closet cleaned out tonight and started on the 2nd one.Will have one set up tomorrow evening when lights come on and not soon enough.The tent is Overgrowing

Ive been thinking of getting a bigger tote. It feels like its already crowded. The pump should be able to handle it. Im going to do 1 inch baskets and collars in the next.

So here’s another question. My last 4 grows i have not wanted to stress the plants at all. I’m growing in 1 gallons and i went to pick up the plants and their roots have gone through the bottom into the 10 gallon. Is it going to hurt the plants at all to cut the roots. I’m just going to transplant them tonight and flower and weed out the males

How much height do you have? You can just cut the bottom and heel plant it, that way the roots just spread and go down, maximizing the use of the soil. Or else, yea just cut an X across the bottom and up the sides.
Start your own journal if you can so we can follow along and be able to have your data in one place.

Lotf like MM said my thread is open to all posts.Its noted at the first post.if you have a question ask it.if i cannot answer it someone on my thread can…MM gave you sound advice.if you have the hieght leave them and open the bag more if you can…Dont damage the roots trying to remove the 1gal bag on the 10gal pot…When i grew in the marshes i used 15gal poly bags with lots of holes in the bottom.The roots would blow through the bag and into the dark rich black damp swamp soil and grow trees.

Love your ambition bro.Grow on.I make 3/4in holes and slip the cutting in to the branches it holds them fine till roots appear.
