Star dog 2024

Hey folk’s, everything looks fine after swapping 96w of t5s for 135w of led.

Some great news my coastal blueberry is a female

I’m stoked about that.

My harvest is about dry I’ll get it down and put the seedlings into the bigger tent to re pot and flower them.

Another crop going looking good. I just got 10 of this Costal BB. I’m glad your growing it. I can maybe get an idea of how she grows. I hope to pop her seed this winter.

Thanks buddy, nice catch on the coastal blueberry that’s ideal
It’s a long story but I’ve only one coastal blueberry.
I’ll not be able to start more until after this crop.
The one I have is wee cracker though, check
it out

Front row, 2nd right plant.
At 12/14 days it was putting out 5 blade leafs :face_with_monocle:

This a picture of the grape fog.

I’m going to get my harvest down tonight and off the stem that’ll let me use the big tent and give them more space and light.

Cheers bud

Job done, i got the harvest down and off the stem, more importantly out of the way to let my seedlings into the space.

It’s still a little cold for low wattage led so I’ve broke out the HID for now, I get sufficient light and heat for 400w.

It’s only a temporary fix I intend to put up a 720w bar light later in the week.

Depending on the female count I might try 2 plants in one pot to see how it works out?

Ah man I love watching your grows unfold. You definitely have a good system nailed down.

Got my eye on the CBB girl and her friends. Good stuff mate.

Thanks guys I really appreciate your comments👍

I’m curious myself about the cbb, it’s already caught my attention with it’s 5 blade leafs early on then being 1st to show its sex from 28 plants ±
I’ve never had a female be 1st to reveal their sex it’s always males 1st,
not that I’m complaining I must be clear :joy:

Since I’ve only one and I’m stoked about it I might re pot it earlier than planned?
I’d usually wait until partially through stretch but I could manage a little lst given its blueberry

With the hid running I’m expecting to see a boost in growth rates and most plants to reveal their sex this week.

Looking at my notes the lost skunk, coco kush and grape fog were soaked 18/20th February so they’re around a month now.

They’re coming along fine but it’s all been pretty mundane stuff.
I’ve cut down a few males and identified a number of females, it’s bit early for celebrations but 50%+ female is looking feasible?

When I was shifting plants about last time I discovered a little plant under the canopy so I put it in with the mums @24hrs for 7/10 days.

I’ve put it back into 12-12 today.

For future reference 35/37 days 8" ave biggest % m/f unknown.

I’ve cut 4 definite males and I’ve also cut a few that we’re getting leggy.

The leggy growth could’ve been my fault with the lighting so I cut them back to the 1st/2nd node to give them another chance.

I don’t believe myself, I started 30 regular seeds and still sprouted some fems just incase

Sown 18/20th Feb vegged @24hrs until February 27th then flipped to 12-12
March 28/30th all revealed sex changed timer to 11 on 13 off.

Lady luck has been watching over me, from the 10 lost skunk I’ve got 8 confirmed females!
I cut 2 coco kush back to the lower nodes so they’re still unknown but from the 2 left growing both are confirmed females!

From my blockbuster cheese I’ve had 5 male, I’ve 2 yet unknown and 1 confirmed female

I’ve since learned my grape fog are females (s1) seeds so not surprisingly the 4 i maintained are females.

Normally I’d re pot them now to 5ltr but I’m going to hold off, 24/26" isn’t unusual so I’m thinking next week would be better, I’m trying to limit their height/size so keeping them in small containers seems logical.

Blockbuster have a nice airy structure to them

idk if that’s coincidental but 1 other from London city genetics bears the trate of letting light flood down through it without removing a leaf.

Next move is to re pot them and hanging my bar light

Friday 29th February cut the timer to 11/13

Hello folk’s, things are moving along nicely, I got 12 plants potted today.

I managed 8 before my back gave up but after a cup of tea and a joint I managed another 4 plants.

A few random pic’s

@Zanzibar this might interest you?

@PadawanWarrior hey bud, i could see it was growing a little odd but it didn’t cross my mind to check the timer untill it was way too late

Edit…
2nd Feb
Potted up 4 more plants into 15ltr so that’s 16 plants in total.

I’ve still a few spare plants in the suacer I’m going to put them into the easy2grow tray.
Hopefully there’s two female kush x La con failing that it’ll be Northern lights and more grape fog fems?

Regular tea? My wife has been drinking the migraine and anti inflammatory teas from these guys and thinks it might help a little. 25% off with code WIN25 in case you’re interested. I’m not a big tea drinker but even I think the tea is pretty good.

Thanks bud I appreciate the link, I do drink the occasional Earl Grey but it’s regular tea i drink lots of.

I hope your girl gets some relief from migraines with the tea.
I’m told they’re the worst headaches i can imagine, in a worst case does she have something to fall back on for managing it other than tea?

So good to see your thread. I wouldn’t have found it otherwise (there’s so many to follow) - thanks for the mention.
I’ll pull up a chair. Thank you

Ya, she has meds too for when she needs it. She doesn’t get them as bad as some people at least. Lately she’s been having less and when she does get them they’re usually a little milder. We think the magnesium, b2, and CoQ10 along with the teas have been helping. Who knows though maybe it’s all in our heads,

Job done :1st_place_medal:
Yesterday I got the autopots set up and put the plants into them, fed each tray 500ml + 100ml directly onto each root ball.
Today i got the light hung up and few little jobs out of the way.

Next i need to sort out the plumbing from the reservoir to the trays and that’ll be me pretty much done

Nice little forest  They’re looking good, like they’re gonna explode soon. Can’t wait to see this LS in action pulling a chair. Gonna stinks over here

Hello folk’s, I hope everyone is well.

I’m pleased to note everything is connected up and reservoir and trays are filled

Coastal blueberry, it was from the 1st lot of seeds so it was a couple of weeks ± ahead of the others, tbh I think I’ve missed the boat with that one, I left it a bit too long?

Let’s see what happens?

Edit
7/8 days back they averaged 7/8" today’s they’re 12/15"

Sown 18/20th Feb vegged @24hrs until February 27th then flipped to 12-12
March 28/30th all revealed sex.
April 1st changed timer to 11 on 13 off.
